The first day of baby red panda. 赤ちゃんレッサーパンダの初出勤

She is a baby red panda who was born on July 9th at "Saitama children's zoo".
彼女は、7月9日に「埼玉こども動物自然公園」で生まれた、レッサーパンダの赤ちゃんです。

It was first day of her work, today.
今日は、彼女の初出勤日だったです。

At first, she was intimidated a little.
最初、彼女は、ちょびっとだけ、おどおどしてたです。

But she got used to new area, and got energetic, little by little.
でも、徐々に慣れてきて、元気になったです。

She tried to jump at cameras which people take her pictures.
彼女は、お写真を撮ってる人のカメラに飛びつこうとしたです。

But there was a glass between them, so she banged her nose against the glass.
でも、間にガラスがあったから、彼女は、お鼻をガラスにぶつけたです。

It was so cute and funny.
すっごく可愛くて、おかしかったです。

She don't have her name, yet.
彼女は、まだ、お名前がないです。

The zoo is accepting applications for her name, from today to 11/6 in front of the red panda-area.
動物園は、今日から11/6まで、レッサーパンダ舎の前で、彼女のお名前を募集してるです。

By the way, her mother is “Nut”.
ところで、彼女のママは「ナツ」です。

"Coco" at "Maruyama zoo" and "Nut" at "Saitama children's zoo" are twins who were born at “Saitama children’s zoo”.
「円山動物園」の「ココ」ちゃんと、「埼玉こども動物自然公園」の「ナツ」は、「埼玉こども動物自然公園」で生まれた双子です。

When their name put together, it become a “coconut”.
彼らの名前を合わせると「ココナツ」になるです。

Unfortunately, I have never met her.
残念ながら、あたしは、ココちゃんに会ったことがありません。

But sometimes, "Coco" was featured by one of my favorite blog.
でも、時々、ココちゃんは、大好きなブログのひとつで、特集されてるです。

Hi, Coco at Maruyama zoo.
こんにちは、円山動物園のココちゃん。

Your niece was born.
あなたの姪っ子が生まれたです。

She is so cute.
すごぉ～～～く、可愛いょ♪

Secretary bird.　ヘビクイワシ

This is a version that I added translation in Japanese to my report which I wrote, before.
これは、以前書いた記事の和訳付バージョンです。

This picture was taken in the “Tobu zoo”.
これは、東武動物公園で撮ったお写真です。

Look at the "crest" of their back head that is so cute and sexy.
すっごく可愛くて、セクシーな、彼らの後頭部の飾り羽を見てくださいです。

They were named “Secretary bird”in English.
彼らのお名前は、英語で「秘書鳥」って言うです。

Because their crest shape looks like a secretary's quill pen.
飾り羽の形が秘書のペンの形に似てるからです。

In the wild, they live in Africa.
野生下では、アフリカに住んでるです。

If they get married then they absolutely don’t change their partner.
彼らは結婚すると、生涯連れ添うです。

If one dies, then they live alone, until the end of their life.
もし、片割れが儚くなると、もう一方は、死ぬまで孤独に過ごすです。

Secretary birds have beautiful long legs.
彼らは、長くて美しいあんよを持ってるです。

They can fly, but they walk around here and there about 5 km every day on their beautiful long legs, to search for their prey.
彼らは飛べるですけど、獲物を探して、毎日、5kmも、キレイな長いあんよで歩き回るです。

I often see the secretary birds that are walking around.
よく彼らが歩き回ってるのを見かけるです。

Their step is rhythmical and fast.
彼らのステップは、リズミカルで、速いです。

I see that, and always I feel like the march is sounding in my head.
それを見ると、いつも、頭の中でマーチが聞こえるような気がするです。

Their favorite prey is snakes.
彼らのお気に入りの獲物は、ヘビです。

So their Japanese name is the “Hebikui washi”.
だから、日本語のお名前は「ヘビクイワシ」っていうです。

The English meaning is “The eagle that eats snakes”.
「蛇を食べるワシ」っていう意味です。

When they find prey, they continue kicking it, until it doesn’t move.
彼らは獲物を見つけると、獲物が動かなくなるまで、キックしまくるです。

The secretary birds kick and kick, attack and attack, that is like a dance♪
ヘビクイワシ」が、キック＆キック、アタック＆アタック、さながらダンスを踊るように♪

Do you know soccer player “Kazuyoshi Miura”?
サッカー選手の「三浦和義」さんを知ってるですか？

Their height is about 90cm to 120cm, and is as tall as a elementary school student.
彼らの身長は、90～120cmで、小学生と同じくらいです。

They're surprisingly big.
意外と大きいです。
