There are some bamboo trees in front of some of the exhibit areas, and are decorated by a lot of "Tanzaku.
放飼場の前に笹があって、たくさんの短冊が飾られてるです。
Wish of each animal were written on the Tanzaku.
それぞれの動物さん達の願いが、短冊に書かれてるです。
It's the third evening today, and I’d like to introduce Siberian Tigers’ wish.
今日は、第三夜、アムールトラです。
She is “Shizuka” who was born in “Tama Zoological Park”.
彼女は、「多摩動物公園」で生まれた「シズカ」ちゃんです。
2 years ago, she fell in love with “Ring” who came from Maruyama Zoo in Hokkaido, and gave birth to triplets named "Keisuke", "Ai" and "Mao".
２年前、シズカちゃんは、北海道から来た「リング」と恋をして、「ケイスケ」と「アイ」と「マオ」の三つ子を産んだです。
But Ring returned to Maruyama Zoo, so she wished “I want a fabulous groom”.
でも、リング君は、円山動物園に帰っちゃったから、彼女は「素敵なお婿さんが欲しい」って願ったです。
I took this pictures when triplets were 5 months old.
これは、三つ子ちゃん達が生後５か月の時のお写真です。
This is a last photo of "Keisuke" which I shot.
これが、あたしが撮った「ケイスケ」君の最後のお写真です。
Unfortunately, Keisuke passed away due to sickness on Dec 30, 2010.
残念なことに、ケイスケ君は、2010年12月30日に、病気で儚くなったです。
I pray sincerely his soul is in peace.

She is “Ai”.
彼女は「アイ」ちゃんです。
She wished “I want to eat a lot of meat”.
彼女は「肉をいっぱい食べたい」って願ったです。
She is “Mao”.
彼女は「マオ」ちゃんです。
She wished, “I want to eat a lot of meat a lot more than Ai”.
彼女は「アイちゃんよりもっと肉を食べたい」って願ったです。
Ai and Mao were tiny babies, but they became 2 years old, today.
アイちゃんも、マオちゃんも、小さな赤ちゃんだったけど、今日で2才になったです。
In the wild, tiger cubs leave their mom when they are 2 years old.
野生下では、トラの子は、2才頃、親離れするです。
And they take a step towards adults.
そして、大人への一歩を踏み出すです。

アイちゃん、マオちゃん、お誕生日おめでとうです
By the way, Tama Zoological Park accepted applications for their names from ordinary visitors when they were born.
ところで、多摩動物公園は、彼らが生まれたときに、一般の来園者から、お名前を募集したです。
The theme was "Athlete who is best player in this year", and names were decided from the majority votes.
テーマは、「今年活躍したスポーツ選手」で、お名前は、多数決で決められたです。
Actually, I'm one of the godmothers of Mao.
実は、あたしは、マオちゃんの名付け親の一人です。
