The summer was coming to an end.
夏は終りに近づいてた
Serena was fine with it since herfew months were action packed with lots of random boys here and there.
セリーナは数ヶ月間、そこら中でたくさんの男の子と一緒に過ごしてたから別に平気だったみたい
Blair, on the other hand, hadn’t found love yet. She hadn’t even foundlike.
だけどブレアはまだ新しい恋はおろか気になる人も見つけてなかった
Hell, she hadn’t even found flirting. Where was her romance??
もう、彼女ったら誰ともイチャついてなかったの。一体彼女のロマンスはどこ？？
But that all seemed to change when she was standing in front of herfavorite Manet at the Musée d’Orsay
だけど、オルセー美術館でお気に入りのマネの絵の前に立ってるときすべては変わった、
and met Louis.
彼女はルイと出会ったの
Tall, dark and very handsome,
彼は背が高くってこげ茶色の髪、それにとってもカッコいいの
Blair’s favorite Manet just so happened to be his favorite too.
ブレアのお気に入りのマネは、たまたま彼のお気に入りでもあったみたい
Um, fate, much? Louis quickly invited Blair out to dinner withhim.
これって運命じゃない？ルイは早速ブレアをディナーに誘った
And when he was leaving, his friend mentioned something about theGrimaldis aka the royal family of Monaco!
そして彼が去ろうとしたとき、彼の友達がグリマルディ、別名モナコ王室について話してたの！
Could it be? Was Louis ablue blood? Oh mon dieu!
こんなことってある？ルイってば王族なの？オーマイゴッド！
And don’t worry about Serena. Louis’ friend, Jean Michel, was in town.
心配しなくていいよセリーナ、ルイの友達のジャンミシェルも街にいるよ
Did someone say double date?
だれかダブルデートって言った？
But this double date was not what Blair had expected.
だけど、このダブルデートはブレアが期待したようなものじゃなかった
When Louis and Jean Michel showed up, it turned out Louis was driving them.
ルイとジャンミシェルが現れたとき、ルイはみんなを車で送ってくんだってことがわかった
And not because it was the driver’s night off.
運転手が休暇中だったからってわけじゃないよ
It was because he’s the driver!
ルイは運転手だったの！
Jean Michel’s the actual royal. Which meant Serena got the prince.
本当はジャンミシェルが王族だった。ってことは、セリーナが王子様をゲットしたみたい
And Blair? Well, you know what she got and she was none too pleased.
だったらブレアは？彼女には何にもいいことなかったみたい
Why did this always have to happen to her?
何で彼女はいつもこうなるの？
Things didn’t get much better when Blair got a call from her mother.
ブレアのママから電話が来た時も、ことは一向に良くなってなかった
Eleanor was helping with Fashion’s Night Out and working closely with Lily.
エレノアはファッションズナイトアウトでリリーのもとで働いてた
Lily let it slip that Serena’s not going to Brown.
リリーはセリーナがブラウン大に行かないってことを許すことにした
She’s going to Columbia. Yep, she and Blair would be classmates once and again.
セリーナはコロンビア大に行くの。そう、セリーナとブレアはもう一度クラスメートになる予定だった
When Eleanor told her daughter this, Blair being Blair did not take the news very well.
エレノアからそのことを聞いたブレアはあんまりうれしく思わなかった
In fact, she took it outside with Serena.
それで、彼女はセリーナを外へ連れ出した
The two of them got into a heated argument.
2人は激しい口喧嘩を始めちゃった
Blair told Serena she needed to be on her own so she could succeed.
ブレアは一人になって自分自身が成功したいってセリーナに言った
She couldn’t be in Serena’s shadow once again.
またセリーナの陰になるのは嫌だってね
Serenatried to plead with her.
セリーナは自己弁護しようとしてた
It wouldn’t be Constance 2.0. They were both mature adults now.
もうコンスタンスみたいにはならない、2人とも今はもう大人になったし、
They didn’t have to make it a big deal.
これはそんなに大したことじゃないってね
But Blair wasn’t having any of it.
だけどブレアは全くそんなこと思ってなかった
First, Serena took her prince and now she took her college.
まず、セリーナはブレアの王子様を奪って、彼女の大学まで奪ったんだもん
It was time for her to pay. So what did Blair do?
次はセリーナが何かされる番、ブレアが何したと思う？
She pushed Serena into a fountain!!! Splash!
セリーナを噴水に突き落しちゃった！！！バッシャーーン！
Blair returned to the table in hopes of snatching Jean Michel for herself.
ブレアはジャンミシェルを彼女のものにすべく、テーブルに戻った
A prince was much more her type than his lowly driver.
彼女のタイプは運転手より王子様だもんね
But Blair soon found out that it was actually Louis who was the royal.
だけど、ブレアは直後にルイこそが本当の王族だったってことを知らされるの
He was only pretending to be the driver
彼はただ運転手の振りをしていただけだったの。
in case Blair just wanted to go on a date with him because of his status.
ブレアが彼の地位目当てにデートしたなんてことがないようにね
And well, she kind of proved hispoint.
そーね、ブレアはルイが正しかったってことを証明しちゃったみたい
Poor Blair. No prince and no BFF 
かわいそうなブレア、王子様も親友も失っちゃったね
