時を繕う
山ト風トの器は実家の蔵からの古い漆器や陶器が主になります。
古いが故に欠けている器も沢山ありました。
日本には金継ぎという、漆を使って陶器を治す方法があります。
壊れたものに新たな命を吹き込むのです。時間の傷を繕う手法として、絆創膏のように漆や金粉を使い、亀裂を美しい模様へと変えます。
この技法は、壊れた瞬間を否定せず、むしろ受け入れることで、物に新たな価値と歴史を与えます。
時が経つ中で傷つくことは避けられませんが、それを受け入れ、傷を修復することで、より強く美しくなることができるのです。
人と人との関係性にもとても通じるものがある様におもいます。

傷ついたその器がまた誇らしげにいる佇まいを見てあげてください。

Mending Time
The vessels of mountains and winds are mainly old lacquerware and pottery from my family's storage.
There were many damaged pieces due to their age.
In Japan, there is a method called "kintsugi" to repair pottery using lacquer. It breathes new life into broken objects, transforming the scars of time into beautiful patterns by using lacquer and gold dust, much like a bandage.
This technique doesn't deny the moment of breakage; instead, it embraces it, giving the object new value and history.
While getting hurt as time goes by is inevitable, by accepting it and repairing the wounds, one can become stronger and more beautiful. I believe this applies deeply to relationships between people as well.
If you happen to find a piece repaired with kintsugi in a corner, please take a moment to admire how proudly the once-damaged vessel stands.
