三条河原町に位置するヒルトン京都は、2024年9月12日に開業した、ヒルトンのフラッグシップ・ブランドである「ヒルトン・ホテルズ＆リゾーツ」としては京都初進出のホテルです。

2022年3月に亡くなったインテリアデザイナー橋本夕紀夫氏の遺作となったホテルです。

建物や空間デザインは「ORIMONO（織物）」をテーマとし、京都の伝統工芸である織物をイメージした格子や組み紐が随所に用いられていました。

全313室の客室は、約40平米のスタンダードルームを中心に、様々なタイプが用意されており、レストラン、宴会場、ジム、屋内プールなどの施設が備わっています。

朝食は1Fにある地中海レストラン「セブン・エンバーズ」の隣にあるオールデイダイニング「テオリ」で頂きます。

床はタイル貼り、天井は糸をデザインしたものになっています。イスはクッションを吊っており、客室にも採用してある一連の吊り手法になっています。

朝食は【約80種類のビュッフェ】だそうで和洋中の多彩なメニューと京都を感じる味わいを存分に味わえます。

おにぎりは最近の流行になっており、おにぎりサイズが小さいのは食べやすく他のメニューにも手を出せるのでアイデアだと思います。

ただコーヒーマシンが一つしかなくお湯もそのマシンからしかなく大勢の人が列を作って待っていたのはいただけません。

The hotel is the last work of interior designer Yukio Hashimoto, who passed away in March 2022.

The building and space design was based on the theme of “ORIMONO (textile),” with latticework and braided cords inspired by Kyoto's traditional craft of weaving used throughout.

A total of 313 guest rooms, mainly standard rooms of approximately 40 square meters, are available in various types, and facilities include a restaurant, banquet hall, gymnasium, and indoor swimming pool.

The floor is tiled and the ceiling has a thread design. The chairs are hung with cushions, a series of hanging technique also used in guest rooms.

Breakfast is a buffet with about 80 different kinds of food.
Onigiri (rice balls) have become a recent trend, and the small size of the onigiri is a good idea because it is easy to eat and allows you to access other items on the menu.

The only problem was that there was only one coffee machine and hot water was only available from that machine, so many people had to wait in line.

客室の扉を開けると右側に障子が連なるアプローチがあります。
左側にはクローク、バケージ台トイレが並びます。

バスルームの壁・床はテラゾータイプのタイル張りで縦の目地がうるさく感じられました。

洗面台は１ベシンで天板は黒。比較的広いスペースがあり、使いやすいです。

トイレはゆったりとしています。

When you open the door to the guest room, there is a passageway with sliding doors on the right side.
On the left side, there is a cloakroom, luggage rack, and toilet.

The bathroom walls and floor are covered with terrazzo-type tiles, and the vertical joints are a bit distracting.

The sink is a single basin with a black countertop. It is relatively spacious and easy to use.

The toilet is spacious.

客室の扉を開けると右側に障子が連なるアプローチがあります。
左側にはクローク、バケージ台トイレが並びます。

ヘッドボードは織物が吊るされています。両側のペンダント、花入れも吊り下げタイプです。

ミニバーはベッドの横にあり、かなり幅の狭いタイプです。
使いにくいですが、スペースが取れなかったのでしょう。

窓際にソファが置かれています。正面の窓を開けると工事中の建物が見えます。

障子がお部屋の２面に渡り、開けることも出来ず、障子だらけで息苦しさを感じました。

Fabric is hung above the headboard. The pendants and flower vases on both sides are also hanging types.

The minibar was next to the bed and was quite narrow.
It was difficult to use, but I guess there wasn't enough space.

There was a sofa by the window. When I opened the window in front of me, I could see a building under construction.

There were shoji screens on two sides of the room, which couldn't be opened, and I felt suffocated by all the shoji screens.
