ホテルの建物は1912年に教育省として建てられ、金色の砂岩のファサードを持つ歴史的建造物に指定されています。この建物は２年の歳月をかけ、歴史ある建築的特徴と現代的なデザイン美学を融合させたカペラ・シドニーとして生まれ変わりました。

カペラグループは世界のベストホテルブランド第 1 位、「Travel + Leisure」誌の「2024 World's Best Awards」において、 2年連続で最優秀ホテルブランドを受賞しています。

最優秀ホテルブランドに選ばれただけでなく、カペラ・ シドニーはオーストラリアとニュージーランドで第 3 位のシティホテルに選ばれました。

8 階建てに 192 室の客室とスイートを備えたこのシドニーの高級ホテルは、1 階にシグネチャー レストラン、ブラッスリー 1930、マクレー バーなど 3 つの飲食店を擁しています。

客室は天井が高くゆったりとしています。床はフローリングで置き敷きカーペットが敷いてあります。ミニバー上部は壁掛けテレビが配置され、その周りをアートで囲んであります。

ベッドは非常に高く700H近くありました。

入口にあるクロークは折戸になっており、ギーギー音が鳴るのが気になりました。
赤い皮の衝立が印象的です。



The hotel building was built in 1912 as the Ministry of Education and is a listed historic landmark with a golden sandstone façade. It took two years to transform the building into Capella Sydney, blending historic architectural features with a contemporary design aesthetic.

Capella Group is ranked the world's best hotel brand and has been awarded the Best Hotel Brand for two consecutive years in the 2024 World's Best Awards by Travel + Leisure magazine.

In addition to being named the best hotel brand, Capella Sydney was also named the third best city hotel in Australia and New Zealand.

With 192 rooms and suites across eight floors, this Sydney luxury hotel has three dining options on the ground floor, including the Signature Restaurant, Brasserie 1930, and Maclear Bar.

The guest room is spacious with high ceilings. The floors are made of hardwood floors and carpeted. There is a wall-mounted TV above the minibar, surrounded by art.

The bed was very high, about 700H.

The cloakroom at the entrance has folding doors, which I found made a creaking noise.
The red leather partition is very impressive.

窓の外は中庭になっており、中庭のガラス天井からラウンジの動くお花の照明が見えます。

丁度イースターにあたっていたのでケーキがテーブルの上に置かれていました。

Outside the window was a courtyard, and the moving flower lights in the lounge could be seen through the glass ceiling of the courtyard.

It was Easter, so a cake was placed on the table.

エレベーターの内部壁は砂岩風、床はシンプルなグレーのカーペットです。3Fの廊下の壁はベージュと木の組合せ、カーペットはグレーの総柄デザインです。

パブリックトイレはクラシックな絵が印象的です。ブースはベージュと木の組合せ、小便器エリアはグレートーンでまとめられています。

The interior walls of the elevator are a sandstone-like design, and the floor is a simple gray carpet. The walls of the 3rd floor hallway are a combination of beige and wood, and the carpet has a gray all-over pattern design.

The public toilets feature impressive classic paintings. The booths are a combination of beige and wood, and the urinal area is in gray tones.
