三条河原町に位置するヒルトン京都は、2024年9月12日に開業した、ヒルトンのフラッグシップ・ブランドである「ヒルトン・ホテルズ＆リゾーツ」としては京都初進出のホテルです。

2022年3月に亡くなったインテリアデザイナー橋本夕紀夫氏の遺作となったホテルです。

建物や空間デザインは「ORIMONO（織物）」をテーマとし、京都の伝統工芸である織物をイメージした格子や組み紐が随所に用いられていました。

全313室の客室は、約40平米のスタンダードルームを中心に、様々なタイプが用意されており、レストラン、宴会場、ジム、屋内プールなどの施設が備わっています。

エントランスは河原町通りに面していますが、建物の北側に位置し、分かりにくいです。
アプローチには竹が植えられ池があり水が流れています。
暑い京都を散策してアプローチに入るとホッとする涼しさが感じられます。

ロビー廻りは格子を組合わせ、和のイメージを全面的に表現しています。

Located in Sanjo-Kawaramachi, Hilton Kyoto opened on September 12, 2024, and is the first hotel in Kyoto for Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Hilton's flagship brand.

The hotel is the last work of interior designer Yukio Hashimoto, who passed away in March 2022.

The building and space design was based on the theme of “ORIMONO (textile),” with latticework and braided cords inspired by Kyoto's traditional craft of weaving used throughout.

A total of 313 guest rooms, mainly standard rooms of approximately 40 square meters, are available in various types, and facilities include a restaurant, banquet hall, gymnasium, and indoor swimming pool.

The entrance faces Kawaramachi-dori, but is located on the north side of the building and is difficult to find.
The approach is planted with bamboo and has a pond with water running through it.
After a stroll in hot Kyoto, the approach to the building is refreshingly cool.

The lobby area is lattice latticework, which expresses the overall image of Japanese style.
