今回は前半はメール、後半はチャットでのやり取りを見て行きましょう。今日のテーマは顧客との信頼関係を築くです。
前半は会食のお礼を言うメールです。リュウタロウは取引先のマヌエラから招待された開始の翌日にお礼のメールを出します。このメールのポイントはこちらです。食事以外にどんな事に触れていますか？このポイントを意識しながらメールを見て行きましょう。

hospitality（おもてなし）お礼メールのキーワードですね。

次に食事について触れています。
It was delicious.だけでなく、このように少し具体的なコメントを加えましょう。
distinctは「独特の」「際立った」という意味で、味を表現するときにもよく使われます。
ちなみにポルトガルはヨーロッパの中でも焼き魚を日常的に食べる国です。
そして今回のポイントはこちらです。

会食の本来の目的は、美味しいものを食べることではなく、食事をしながらお互いをもっと知ることですから、会話に関するポジティブな感想を盛り込むことをお勧めします。もっとも会食といっても、ビジネスランチのように仕事中心のものもありますので、会食の目的に応じてバランスを考えてみてください。
そして最後の文です。

ここでもう一度お礼をいっています。
memorable(思い出に残る)という形容詞が効果的に使われています。

feel free to～は「もしよろしければ～してください」というときにぴったりです。
この他にこんな表現をすることもできます。

do try ～ingは「ぜひ試しに～してみてください」という意味になります。

treasureは「大事にする」という意味の動詞です。
こう言われれば、リュウタロウとアキコは充分報われた気持ちになるでしょうね。
また、SNSでよく使われるカジュアルな言い方が効果的に使われています。

Jenny: Instead of "delighted" or "pleased", "super happy" is used, and instead of "impressive", "awe-inspiring"is used.

It's been a while since we were in Kamakura.
It's been a while since～は「～してからしばらく経っている」という言い方です。このit's beenはit has beenの短縮形です。
この他にどんな表現をすることができるでしょうか？
Shibata: What other forms of expression are possible?
Jenny: Using "it's been quite some time since", you can also say,
It's been quite some time since we last visited Kamakura.
Shibata: That's a good one.
it's been quite some time since～もIt's been a while since～と同様の言い回しです。
