Patient: Hello, I have a prescription from my otorhinolaryngologist. Can you help me understand how to use these medications?

Patient: Here it is. My otorhinolaryngologist said these are for my sinusitis.
Pharmacist: Thank you. Let me take a look. (checks prescription) You have a nasal spray and some oral antibiotics. Do you have any other conditions or are you taking other medications?
Patient: No, just the sinusitis. I sometimes use a saline nasal spray for dryness.
Pharmacist: That’s good to know. For the nasal spray prescribed for your sinusitis, you should use it twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. Make sure to gently shake the bottle before each use.
Patient: How should I use the nasal spray?
Pharmacist: Tilt your head slightly forward, insert the nozzle into one nostril, and spray while breathing in gently. Repeat for the other nostril. Avoid blowing your nose immediately after using the spray.
Patient: And the antibiotics?
Pharmacist: Take the antibiotics exactly as prescribed, usually once every 12 hours. Make sure to complete the entire course, even if you start feeling better.
Patient: Is there anything else I should watch out for?
Pharmacist: If you experience any severe side effects like difficulty breathing, rash, or swelling, contact your doctor immediately. Also, stay hydrated and avoid alcohol while taking the antibiotics.

患者: 鼻スプレーはどう使えばいいですか？
