長く永く
その答えを探しに旅に出た
さすらいの旅人ロカンダ・トリップ
ある村の長老にこんな話を聞いた
・
「サロス王国へ向かう途中にある
クレネルの丘に行ってみるといい。
その丘で大地と空のあいだに立つと
“世界の真ん中がみえる”と
古くから云われていおるぞ。」と・・・

ロカンダ・トリップは
長老の言葉を頼りに丘へ向かった
たどり着いたその丘はでこぼこ道が続く
陽の光眩しい 輝く絶景だった
暮れゆく太陽に手をかざし
大空を見上げ 思い返す
喜びに満ち溢れる日
やりきれない怒れる日を
哀しみで涙が頬をつたう日
笑顔の楽しい日々を…

Where Is the Center of the World?
For a long, long time,
the wandering traveler Locanda Trip
had journeyed in search of the answer.
Where is the center of the world?
One day, an old village elder told him of a place.
—
*"On your way to the Kingdom of Saros,
you should visit Crenel Hill.
It has long been said
that if you stand upon that hill,
between the earth and the sky,
you will be able to see
the center of the world."*
—
Guided by the elder's words,
Locanda Trip set out for the hill.
The road was rough and winding,
but when he finally reached the top,
a magnificent landscape bathed in sunlight
spread before his eyes.
As the sun began to set,
he held out his hand toward the fading light
and gazed up into the vast sky.
And then, he remembered—
the days overflowing with joy.
The days filled with anger and frustration.
The days when tears rolled down his cheeks in sorrow.
And the countless days filled with laughter.
Perhaps the center of the world
was not a place he could find on any map.
Perhaps it had been there all along,
within the world he carried in his own heart.
What kind of scenery can you see
from the center of your world?
