インドネシアの軍のパレードがありました。
今日は結婚式に出席する予定日で、その会場に行くには、どうしてもこのパレードが行われるモナスの広場周辺を通過しなければなりませんでした。
大渋滞で30分近く動かないバスの中でじりじりしていたことろ、運転手さんが「降りて歩いて」とドアを開けてくれました。
電車の駅まで30分ほど歩くことになり、その結果パレードを見ることができました。
8月の独立記念日より人が多かった気がします。
ちなみアパートから結婚式の会場まで３時間半という東京から神戸まで行けるほどの時間かかり、そして結婚式の帰りもまだパレードは続いていました。

Hari ini saya berencana pergi ke pesta pernikahan.
Namun, untuk menuju ke tempat acara, saya harus melewati area sekitar Lapangan Monas tempat parade berlangsung.
Karena parade itu, terjadi kemacetan parah dan bus tidak bergerak selama sekitar 30 menit.
Saat itu, sopir bus berkata, “Silakan turun dan jalan kaki,” lalu membuka pintu.
Saya pun berjalan sekitar 30 menit menuju stasiun kereta.
Karena itu, saya bisa melihat parade tersebut.
Orangnya sangat banyak, bahkan terasa lebih ramai daripada pada Hari Kemerdekaan bulan Agustus.
Perjalanan dari apartemen ke tempat pernikahan memakan waktu tiga setengah jam — sama seperti waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk pergi dari Tokyo ke Kobe!
Dan ketika saya pulang dari pesta pernikahan, paradenya masih belum selesai.
There was a military parade in Indonesia.
Today was the day I planned to attend a wedding.
However, to reach the wedding venue, I had to pass through the area around Monas Square, where the parade was taking place.
Because of the parade, there was a huge traffic jam, and the bus didn’t move for about 30 minutes.
At that time, the driver said, “You can get off and walk,” and opened the door.
So I walked about 30 minutes to the train station.
Thanks to that, I was able to see the parade.
There were so many people—probably even more than on Independence Day in August.
It took three and a half hours to get from my apartment to the wedding venue, about the same as traveling from Tokyo to Kobe!
And when I was returning from the wedding, the parade was still going on.
