A friend of mine gave me this expensive beef produced in Saga Prefecture, Kyushu Island, Japan. これはいただきものの佐賀牛の肉。
Shiny because each meat is wrapped with a plastic bag. 肉１枚１枚がビニールで包まれている。
Ate them as Sukiyaki, or Japanese stew seasoned with sugar & soy sauce. The beef has a little bit of fat which makes the beef tastes delicious. Of course it is tender.
関東風のすきやきでいただいた。肉は脂身が少々入っていて、やわらかくておいしかった。
