アミーバ。
アミーバ・ミュージックというレコード／CD店がアメリカ西海岸、ロスアンジェルス、サンフランシスコなどにある。1990年にバークリーに一店舗目ができて以後ビジネスが順調に伸びているようだ。そのアミーバが、自社のウェッブサイト、ユーチューブ・チャンネルを持ち、そこで「ワッツ・イン・マイ・バッグ」という数分の番組を不定期に公開している。
月に2－3本程度収録、編集しアップロードしているが、すでに500本以上のエピソードが公開されている。最新のものは、シーズン10というから10年目になるようだ。
コンセプトはシンプル。同店を訪れたミュージシャンや音楽関係者が自分の好みの作品や自分が影響を受けた作品をランダムに選び、それについての一言解説する、というもの。これが実におもしろい。
