"Iroha Lecture 487"

一番尊い愛は母性愛である。
The most precious love is maternal love.
それは無条件の愛だからである。
Because it is unconditional love.
子供は「育つ」ものである。
Children "grow up".(SODATSU)
「育つ」とは「巣立つ」という語源から来ている。
"Grow up" comes from the etymology of "flying out of the nest."(SUDATSU)
小鳥が親元を離れることを「巣立ち」と言う。
The departure of a small bird from its parents is called "fledged".(SUDACHI)
子供が成長して「巣立つ」のは喜びであると同時に悲しみでもある。It is both a joy and a sadness for a child to grow up and "leave the nest".
そこには別れがあるからだ。
Because there is a farewell there.
西洋では「愛」というが、東洋における神仏の愛を「慈悲」と言う。
In the West, it is called "love," but in the East, the love of God and Buddha is called "mercy."(JIHI)
慈悲とは「慈しみ悲しむ」ことである。
Mercy(JIHI) is mercy and grief. "
愛は「悲しみ」を含んでいる。
Love contains "sadness."
いつか別れなければならない親子の愛こそが最も尊い。
The love of parents and children who must part with each other is the most precious.
悲しみを含んだ愛が「いろは」の愛である。
Love that includes sadness is the love of "Iroha".
母「いろは」はあなたを地上世界に送り出した。
Our mother "Iroha" has sent you to the earthly world.
「いろは」の愛こそが最も尊い。
The love of "Iroha" is the most precious.
あなたはそれを知らずに生きている。
You live without knowing it.
母は全ての命が可愛い。
Our mother loves all lives.
そこに分け隔て」はない。
There is no "separation there".
いつもあなたのことを心配しておられる。
Our mother is always worried about you.
このことに気が付いた人から生き方を改めなさい。
If you notice this, change your way of life.
地球艱難の時は近づいている。
The time of earth trouble is approaching.
