カヌーハウス THE CANOE HOUSE
ビッグアイランドのマウナ ラニ ベイ ホテル & バンガローズ。そこにあるレストラン、カヌーハウスのお料理の写真が出てきました。行ったのはもう何年も前のことです。懐かしいなぁ。海辺に面したこのレストランは、サンセットがすごく素敵でした。日が落ちると、松明の灯でとても落ち着いた世界に。まぁ、ちょっと暗くてお料理が食べづらかったのですが、日本人は明るさに慣れているので余計そう思ってしまうのかも。ドレスコードはあるのですが、それほど皆さん気にしていないようで、適当でした。素人の私と旦那は、入店拒否されたらいやなので、いつもよりはちょっと小綺麗な格好で。お料理の味付けは、しっかりめ。正直なところ、私たちには少々濃かったです。でも、素敵なサンセットや波の音、テーブル同士の間隔も広く周りが気になりません。雰囲気はとてもいいです。まぁ、もちろんお値段もそこそこしますので、毎日のディナーってわけにはいかないのですが、せっかくハワイまで来たんだもん、1回くらいの奮発は許されるはず！予約される際は、是非、サンセットの時間帯を狙ってください。日本語のわかるコンシェルジュもいますので、予約の依頼も可能です。The CANOE HOUSE atMauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows in BigIsland.I found photos of The CANOE HOUSE.It is a picture of a cuisine I ate at a restaurant, "The CANOE HOUSE", at the hotel. I have been to many years ago. It is so nostalgic.This restaurant was facing the beach, the sunset was very beautiful. When the sun wentdown, the atmosphere wasfantastic. Because it wasonly a torch's lights, it was a bit dark and a little hard to eat. Because Japanese are accustomed to the brightness, I may have thought so much.This restaurant has a dress code, but it seemedthat everyone didn't care so much. Amateur me and my husband didn'twant to be refused entry, so wewent with a pretty goodappearance than usual.Seasoning of dishes wasfirm. To be honest, it was a bit dense for us.
