Hmmmm. The thing that I did in the classes that are totally unrelated to the subject? Well, I'm guessing you mean besides the reading of dirty magazines?! There are a lot of things that I did back then, that are totally unrelated the courses I took, well to be more specific, totally unrelated to school at all!

For some reasons, I usually got bored during classes, unless the courses were something of my interest such as science and math. Unfortunately, in our country, the chair and the desk are attached to one another, so I couldn't try to balance myself by rocking my chair back and force, like you would see in schools in Japan. So, there wasn't much you could do to entertain yourself, while in class.

At one point, I was into reading dirty magazines in class, that was passed around us, boys. But soon, I got bored with that, too. I mean, I liked the thrill of thinking what would happen if the nuns (I went to Catholic School) found out what I was doing, especially the one nun that hated my guts to no end. She used to give me a ticket for being late, even I made it before the bell has finished ringing! (Well, I know it was a close call, but she didn't give the detention tickets to others, who were like me!) So, I liked the thrill, but once I know I was just too good to get caught, I got bored with it. (LOL)

My usual thing was sleeping. I was usually up during the courses I love, and I took those subjects seriously as well as I enjoyed them. But for those subjects that didn't have much appeals to my taste, I usually end up falling sleep the whole hour. I mean, I was sleeping really "DEEP". Sometimes, I would talk while I slept or even laugh, and I still wouldn't wake up even with my own voice. My teachers usually had to shake me to wake me up after the class, so I can make it to the next course! It was funny to hear the result of parent-teacher conferences, because my parents would be so baffled. As one teacher would describe me as very active, eyes sparkling and all that good stuffs, right after that, the next teacher would describe me as good as a dead fish. I guess my parents couldn't believe that they were still talking about the same student, me!

One thing that I did, that I remember the most, would be in the Anatomy course that I took while I was in high school. I think it was either Anatomy or Biology, I forgot which course to be exact, since both of the subjects had the same teacher. Anyways, during one of the dissection, we dissected a frog. I was quick with my hands and I finished the lab early, so the rest of the hour, I spent on taking out the brain of the frog unharmed. I mean, I was determined to do it, and I had my own excuse if she found out that I'm doing something unnecessary. I was going to say I did this, so, my teacher could put it in a container filled with formalin as a display for future students. It took a while and cuz I had to be very careful, since frog's skull isn't that thick and right underneath it, would be its brain. I went back and force with my scalpel, pressuring hard enough to chisel the skull, but soft enough touch to prevent from my scalpel going way too deep damaging its brain. It took the rest of the hour to take out the tiny brain, but I made it, without damaging any other part. It was not relating to the lab that we were doing or studying, but after I finished, I called my teacher and showed it to her. She was amazed and liked the idea of having it as a display for future students, so she decided to give me an extra credit, for the effort. I think that was the first time any student ever got an extra credit for doing unrelated thing in class!!
