It is sad, how the history turned up to be. So many words etymologically meant nothing offensive end up becoming "racial" and forced to be sealed up never to be used, just because they were reeled into a sensational historical event. Those of who doesn't know or doesn't care about the original meanings of the words would scream to be a victim of racial slurs, being overly defensive and overly sensitive. Many of the words which etymologically meant just the descriptions or harmless abbreviations, only became categorized as offensive in the last few decades. Because I work with languages, I usually know etymologies of the words, the roots, the purpose of their existences, when all that history of the words are turned all negative, just because those words lacked having the luck to avoid getting reeled into bad history, is very sad.

Sadly, because of our history, the Whites in the States are restricted and usually overly judged by what words we use, harsher than any other races. In recent days, when the Whites are victimized with racial slurs, we usually have to just "live through" it. We could sue of course, however, it is just way too obvious that it would not be given the same justice, as when the whites were on the defendant side of the same crime. So, we won't bother... We are still paying crimes of our past as a "Caucasian", including those of us whose ancestors were never even involved with this national crime of the past. It is okay for other races to call any Caucasians, "Crackers", "White Trash", "White Boy", etc. or make fun of our physical characteristics such as blond hair, or even the blue eyes, but boy, is it so "racial" for a Caucasian to use a term from etiological meaning!

Practically, it is always possible to take any words out of contexts to make them "racial", when they are spoken by the Whites, now a days. Unfortunately not a same amount of weight is pressed upon other races. There is no equal justice between reverse discrimination and discrimination. The discrimination is taken very seriously, and it should be as the crime could get so heinous at times. However, so should the reverse discrimination to be taken.

There was an incident of a famous stand up comedian, who had been racially attacked by the hecklers, who in the end responded the same way as the heckler had been treating him on his show. Well, I have to say that he did overstep the boundary, once his rage took his control over. But I wonder, how much had he been pushed to outburst that way in public. Just because he was a stand up comedian, a public figure, he was okay to be attacked racially for so many times, but one word that was to give the hecklers their own taste of medicine could end his entire career. To be honest, I thought both were in the same boat, the hecklers and the comedian... I mean, it takes two to tango, and two parties to quarrel. Besides that, the comedian didn't started off his joke with racial ones, he had been attacked numerous times with racial slurs by the hecklers, before people inside the bar started taping with their cell phone cameras. Those same people didn't even bother to tape, when black hecklers were racially attacking him, but they only started to tape after the comedian used one word that was tabooed. The reaction of the people are what we are taught. It's okay for other races to use racial slurs to the whites, since we became culturally conditioned to view it as not a serious offense; nothing worthy to tape and report. But we are conditioned to feel so "shocked" and "scandalized", when the Whites after taking so many abuse outburst in the same way.

Recently, I think people started to misidentify "love" and started to believe on bringing up the kids in the sterilized condition. They would listen to only the cries of their own children's, but never even bother to hear about what their children did to the others to begin with. I mean, Yes, it would be nice, if everyone played nice, but we all know that is not the real life, as long as we have more than one person, there's not a chance in coming to 100% agreement in all things, and that's just how the life is. Some words are created to be racial and purpose of the words were to attack. Those, I won't use them and I detest people who do. However, other words that etymologically meant just the abbreviations or the descriptions, by what right do we have to erase the whole history of the words, turning them into trash and making those words "unusable", by an overly emphasized partial history?

Those who cries overly, usually don't realized the etymologies of the words, the history of the words... But cries just because they only know about the most recent sensational part of the history. Ironically, those who cries are usually more racial themselves than they like to admit. Sure, they may not use the racial "words" in particular, but uses physical characteristics of others to ridicule or by their action towards other races. Again, they are NOT in their definition, being "racial", since they didn't say the "words", or worse even when they use the words, their "slurs" are not taken as serious as when the White uses slurs.

Here is one of my favorite Broadway Musical called Avenue Q, singing "Everyone's a li'l bit Racist". The musical uses puppets that remind many of us of the famous children's show called The Sesame Street. Well, they ARE doing sort of like "The Sesame Street" for adults with reality in a way, and their show is very cleverly made to be comical.
