ブログネタ：グチを聞いてくれるのは恋人？友達？家族？ 参加中私は友達派！
As usual, I couldn't find my answer in the choices that were given by Amoeba, but this time the fault is on me, I suppose. The thing is, I hate bitching... I bitch a lot, I'm sure, but bitching doesn't really work with me as a way of venting out some fumes. For that, I would prefer going to a batting cage and whack some balls. That usually take my mind off of things that's been bothering me and chill me back to be calm, again. I took psychology, so I know "talking" is supposed to be a good way to deal with stressful events, but when I get mad, my mouth can't keep up with my mind! (LOL) May be I'm just getting old, but my mouth would be flapping fiercely like those of gold fish, and yet I wouldn't be able to make a single word come out of it! It's actually more stressful to "talk it out", to be honest. I would be able to vent out whole a lot quicker with just by going to a batting cage or do some workouts.
Anyways, I chose friend, cuz as you say "A ball is a man's best friend" in Japanese famous comic book saying. (I think, it was from a comic book, but I am not too sure.) I don't particularly have a thing that I would call "family". The word family never had a peaceful tone with it, the word came with grudge, regret, anger, and hate. So, with me, just having to be with people who uses the word "family" to chain me down would give me more reasons to get frustrated, than relieving stress.
I don't think I would pick a lover or a partner to talk it out, either. Whatever I get frustrated, I wouldn't want to bring it to my home. I would just not want to talk about it, to relive through it nor get angered again by shitty things that happened at work. I would feel like lost, if I had to drag the things that happened at elsewhere to my private home.
With those two choices are out of question in my head, I guess I would choose a friend. But honestly, I think just going to a batting cage will clear the whole thing out in less than 5 min!!!
