２４年の終わりに At the end of 24 years

２４年の終わりに

　今年もまもなく終わります。
一年を振り返って、楽しかった事、嬉しかった事、悲しかった事、悔しかった事、怒れた事など
たくさんありました。

　全て書き出すことは出来ませんが、主な出来事を思い出してみようと思います。
一番重要な事は、自分の時間を有効に過ごす事が出来たかと言うことだと思います。

1年３６５日、８７６０時間。
私の年は６６歳、親の寿命から判断すれば、あと２０年くらいの寿命です。
自分の時間を無駄に過ごせば人生に悔いが残ります。

　一般人の趣味は、読書、音楽、TV、SNS、スポーツ、園芸、旅行、芸術、ペットなどですが、年齢と共に色々変化します。

若い時は、スポーツなら野球、スキー、テニス、ゴルフ、乗馬、スキューバダイビングなど
多くの時間を遊んできました。
仕事と趣味の両立で給料に見合った金額で遊ぶこと。
初めての経験をするスポーツの楽しさを肌で感じていました。
しかし、それらもほぼやりつくした感があります。
オリンピック選手になるわけでも無く、プロを目指すこともありませんでした。
どこまで行っても趣味の世界なわけですから、楽しめば良い訳です。

今では、散歩とウォーキングが私のスポーツになりました。

旅行は、北海道、東北、四国で、初めての経験は良い思い出となりました。
また初めてハムスターを飼育して、ペットから癒しを頂いてます。

男の趣味と言えば、飲む、打つ、買うです。
飲むはお酒、打つはパチンコパチスロ、買うは女です。

お酒は夜のスナック、キャバクラから、今は昼のキャバクラ、ガールズバー、コンカフェに変わり。
パチンコパチスロは、今はPCゲームやスマホゲーム、株取引に変わり。
女は、暇と貯金が増えたことからキャバ嬢と同伴やランチ。デリヘル嬢の可愛い子探し。

昼から飲むお酒は、最高です。
お店は空いてるし、料金も安い。女の子も可愛い子が多いので会話も弾みます。
岡崎から金山、名古屋へは少し遠いが、夕方には帰るので健全と言えます。
年金暮らしで仕事をしていないので、平日昼間から飲むには最高です。

　株取引は、今年は負けでした。
日経平均が４万円を付けたのに負けた、個別株銘柄で失敗の連続でした。
８月の暴落を取り戻すことは出来なかった。
年末に日産や三菱の値が戻ったので含み損も少し解消しました。
私の場合、逆張りなので「落ちるナイフを掴むな」の教訓でしょう。

株式投資は、自分の保有株の会社の業績やホームページを見て将来の株価を予想すること。
世界情勢や新技術、トレンドなどを検索すれば知識が蓄積し興味は尽きないのです。
パソコンに向かって、世界の事が瞬時に解る現代の技術だからと言えます。

来年の株式は不安要素が多く、大暴落も予想されます。
トランプ政権の米国経済と世界経済、中国経済破綻、日本の高インフレから日経平均暴落です。
手持ちの株投資資金は５０％削減しようと思います。

　家に一日中居れば孤独になり、一言も話しをしないことになります。
ZOOMなどを使えば話をできますが、私は使いません。

家から出て、キャバ嬢と話しをすればボケません。
６６歳の爺でもお客。
優しくお話してくれます。

初回フリーで入ると、誰でもLINE交換してくれます。
自分のお気に入りは、次回指名、その次は同伴。
くれぐれも同じ店で何人も指名しない方が身のためです。
１店１名で多店舗行くのが遊び人と言えます。

来年は巳年。
「巳」は蛇のイメージから「再生と変化」「不老長寿」
「努力を重ね、物事を安定させていく」といった縁起のよさを表している
と書かれていました。

来年も健康で、飲む打つ買うの三拍子で３６５日遊びで暇なし。

At the end of 24 years

This year is almost over.
Looking back on the past year, there were many things that were fun, happy, sad, frustrating, and angry.

I can't write down everything, but I'll try to recall the main events.
I think the most important thing is whether I was able to spend my time effectively.

365 days in a year, 8,760 hours.
I'm 66 years old, and judging from my parents' life expectancies, I have about 20 years left to live.
If you waste your time, you will end up with regrets in life.

The average person's hobbies include reading, music, TV, social media, sports, gardening, traveling, art, and pets, but these change with age.

When I was younger, I enjoyed a lot of sports, including baseball, skiing, tennis, golf, horseback riding and scuba diving.

Balancing work and hobbies and having fun for an amount that matches my salary.
I was able to experience the joy of playing sports for the first time.

But I feel like I've pretty much exhausted all of that.
I never aimed to become an Olympic athlete, nor did I aim to go professional.
At any rate, it's just a hobby, so as long as I enjoy it, that's fine.

Now, strolling and walking have become my sport.

I traveled to Hokkaido, Tohoku and Shikoku, and these were all good experiences for me.
I also kept a hamster for the first time, and my pet has been very comforting to me.

Men's hobbies are drinking, gambling, and buying.
Drinking is alcohol, gambling is pachinko and slot machines, and buying is women.

Alcohol has changed from nighttime snack bars and cabaret clubs to daytime cabaret clubs, girls' bars, and con cafes.
Pachinko and slot machines have now been replaced by PC games, smartphone games, and stock trading.
Women, with more free time and savings, are now accompanying cabaret girls or having lunch with them. They are looking for cute delivery health girls.

Drinking alcohol in the afternoon is the best.
The bar is empty and the prices are cheap. There are many cute girls, so conversation is easy.

It's a little far from Okazaki to Kanayama and Nagoya, but I get home in the evening, so I'd say it's healthy.
I'm on a pension and don't have a job, so it's the perfect place to drink during the day on a weekday.

I lost money on stock trading this year.
I lost money even though the Nikkei average hit 40,000 yen, and I had a series of failures with individual stocks.
I was unable to recover from the crash of August.
At the end of the year, Nissan and Mitsubishi recovered in value, so I was able to eliminate some of my unrealized losses.
In my case, I'm a contrarian, so I guess this is a lesson in "don't catch a falling knife."

Stock investment involves looking at the performance and website of the company whose stocks you own and predicting future stock prices.
By searching for information on world affairs, new technologies, trends, etc., you will accumulate knowledge and your interest will never run out.
This can be said to be due to modern technology, which allows you to sit down at a computer and instantly understand what is going on in the world.

There are many uncertainties regarding stocks next year, and a major crash is expected.
The US and global economies under the Trump administration, the collapse of the Chinese economy, and high inflation in Japan have caused the Nikkei average to plummet.
I think I'll reduce my stock investment funds by 50%.

If I stay at home all day, I'll get lonely and won't say a word.
I could talk using ZOOM or something, but I don't use it.

If you get out of the house and talk to a hostess, you won't become senile.
Even a 66-year-old man is a customer.
They talk to you kindly.

If you go in for the first time, anyone will exchange LINE IDs with you.
Choose your favorite girl for the next time, and the next time to accompany her.
For your own good, it's best not to choose multiple girls at the same shop.
Going to multiple shops with just one girl at each shop can be called a playboy.

Next year is the year of the snake.

The snake symbol represents good luck such as "rebirth and change," "eternal youth and longevity," and "making efforts to stabilize things."

I hope to be healthy next year as well, and I'll be having fun 365 days a year, drinking, gambling, and buying.
 

四国旅行Shikoku Trip

四国旅行

　北海道、東北に続き今回は、四国を旅行した。

四国を一周する旅は、自家用車で1600Kmの運転となった。
愛知県岡崎市の自宅を午前８時に出発し、名古屋から四日市に入り甲賀、草津を経由し、京都、大阪、神戸、
明石から明石海峡大橋を渡り淡路島まで運転した。

明石海峡大橋を渡るころは、夜の８時過ぎで鳴門の渦潮を見ることは出来なかったが、
夜景の明石海峡大橋は、照明とネオンで美しかった。

初日は、一般道を走行したので10時間の運転で疲れてしまった。
淡路島の中で道の駅を探し、車中泊をした。

　道の駅では、私と同じ様に車中泊のドライバーが多くいた。
いつもの様に車中泊する場合は、照明で明るい場所に駐車することにしている。
暗い場所や、死角となる場所では防犯上危険だからである。

朝の7時には駐車場も明るくなり、周囲の車もエンジンを掛け人が動き出す。
私もトイレに行き、洗面を行い自家用車の中でお湯を沸かしインスタント味噌汁を作った。
パンとハムとキャベツで朝食を済ませて、四国のマップで目的地を確認しナビの設定をした。

鳴門に渡り、徳島のガソリンスタンドで満タンに給油した。
徳島県のガソリンスタンドは、１リットル１６５円程で愛知県と同程度の料金でした。
　後に高知、愛媛、香川で給油したが、１８０円の高額なガソリンスタンドが多く、

日本のガソリン価格はタンクローリーの運搬が遠い地域は高額なのだと知った。

高知県は室戸岬、足摺岬まで運転し太平洋の海を見ながら長距離ドライブをした。
毎日８時間以上を運転し、夜７時から8時頃に到着する道の駅を選択して車中泊した。

東北の車中泊と比較すると寒くはなかった。
高知では、坂本竜馬の資料館を見学し、お土産を買った。

愛媛県に入り、松山城を見学した。
松山城の石垣を見ながらお城まで登った時、昔の侍の城攻めを思い浮かべた。
石垣は迷路の様に設計されているので、松山城は難攻不落と思えた。

香川県に入ってから、「半田めん」お土産を購入に２時間運転してまた徳島県つるぎ町へ走った。
山道の途中に半田めんの販売所があり、阿波の三百年の味らしい。

　香川県に戻り丸亀城を道路から見上げ、駐車場を探したが旅行客の車で渋滞していたので登ることをあきらめた。
丸亀城の付近で讃岐うどんを食べ、触感を味わった。
讃岐うどんの店は、午前中から多くの客が入り皆うどん好きなのだと思った。

瀬戸大橋を渡り、途中のSAでお土産を買い、岡山県へ渡った。
岡山から高速道路に乗り、愛知県まで５時間の運転をして自宅に帰ってきた。

四国を一周する中で、巡礼の旅八十八のお遍路さんを多く見かけた。
乗用車の３泊４日の運転で疲れたのに、歩いて四国一周など私にはとうてい出来ないと悟った。

　寺と寺の間の道のりは遠く、寺の階段は段数が多い、雨や風、寒さに暑さ、夜は暗く、山道は険しい。
何日も歩き、民宿と野宿、荷物も重い。足腰が疲労し日焼けで真っ黒になるだろう。

自転車かオートバイ、バスや自家用車でないと八十八か所の巡礼はできないだろ。

今年の旅行は、これで終わり。来年の春は、九州一周を計画するとしよう。

Shikoku Trip

After Hokkaido and Tohoku, this time I traveled to Shikoku.
The trip around Shikoku involved driving 1,600 km in my own car.

I left my home in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture at 8am, drove from Nagoya to Yokkaichi,
 passed through Koga and Kusatsu, and then to Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, and from Akashi I crossed the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge to Awaji Island.

By the time we crossed the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, it was past 8pm so we couldn't see the Naruto whirlpools, but the night view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge was beautiful with all the lights and neon.

On the first day, we were on public roads and were exhausted after 10 hours of driving.
We looked for roadside stations on Awaji Island and spent the night in the car.

At the roadside station, there were many drivers who were sleeping in their cars, just like me.

When I sleep in my car, as I usually do, I park it in a well-lit area.
This is because dark places or places with blind spots are dangerous from a crime prevention perspective.

At 7am the parking lot is brightly lit, and people in the surrounding cars start their engines and start moving.

I also went to the toilet, washed my face, and boiled water in my car to make instant miso soup.

After having a breakfast of bread, ham and cabbage, I checked my destination on a map of Shikoku and set up the navigation system.

We crossed over to Naruto and filled up on gas at a gas station in Tokushima.

Gas stations in Tokushima Prefecture cost about 165 yen per liter, which is about the same as in Aichi Prefecture.

I later filled up in Kochi, Ehime, and Kagawa, but there were many gas stations where the price was as high as 180 yen, 
and I learned that gas prices in Japan are high in areas farther away than tanker trucks can transport.

In Kochi Prefecture, we drove to Cape Muroto and Cape Ashizuri, and took in the view of the Pacific Ocean while on a long drive.
We drove for more than eight hours every day, and stayed overnight in the car at roadside stations that we arrived at between 7 and 8 p.m.

It wasn't as cold as sleeping in the car in Tohoku.
In Kochi, we visited the Sakamoto Ryoma museum and bought some souvenirs.

We entered Ehime Prefecture and visited Matsuyama Castle.
As we climbed up to the castle looking at its stone walls, I imagined samurai sieges of castles in the past.
The stone walls are designed like a maze, so Matsuyama Castle seemed impregnable.

After entering Kagawa prefecture, I drove for two hours to Tsurugi town in Tokushima prefecture to buy some "Handamen" as a souvenir.
Along the mountain road, I found a shop selling Handamen, which is said to be the taste of Awa for 300 years.

Returning to Kagawa Prefecture, I looked up at Marugame Castle from the road and tried to find a parking space, but it was jammed with tourists' cars, so I gave up on climbing.
I ate some Sanuki udon near Marugame Castle, enjoying the texture.

The Sanuki udon restaurant was filled with customers from the morning, and it seemed that everyone there loved udon.

I crossed the Great Seto Bridge, bought some souvenirs at a service area along the way, and then crossed into Okayama Prefecture.
From Okayama, I got on the highway and drove for five hours to Aichi Prefecture before returning home.

While going around Shikoku, I saw many people on the 88th pilgrimage. I was exhausted after driving a car for three nights and four days, and I realized there was no way I could walk around Shikoku.

The roads between the temples are long, the temples have many steps, there is rain and wind, cold and heat, the nights are dark, and the mountain paths are steep.
You'll walk for days, sleep in guesthouses and outdoors, and your luggage will be heavy. Your legs and back will tire and you'll get sunburned.

You can't make the pilgrimage to all 88 temples unless you use a bicycle, motorbike, bus or private car.

This is the end of my travels for this year. Next spring, I'll plan to travel around Kyushu.

東北旅行Tohoku Trip

東北旅行

　夏の暑さは、秋となり涼しくなってきた。
先月の北海道に続き、今月は東北旅行をした。

愛知県から自家用車で、新潟県まで高速道路で移動し夕方に到着。
新潟市内の公園を散策し、夕食後に宿泊先を探し公園で車中泊をした。
車中泊用にエアーベッドと毛布を用意していたが、真夜中３時ごろ寒さに震えた。
愛知県は先日まで熱帯夜だったのに、日本海側はもう冬に突入した様だ。

　２日目は、朝早くに目が覚めた。
寒いので６時ごろにトイレに立ち、そのまま起きて朝食の準備をした。
事前にパンとハムとサラダを買っておいたので朝食は簡単にし、飲み物は電気ポットを使用して
インスタント味噌汁を作った。
電気ポットは１００Vポータブル電源で湯沸かしをしたので、寒い朝には
暖かい飲み物は幸せのひと時でした。

　３日目から４日目は、新潟県から、山形県酒田市へ移動し、秋田県秋田市へ日本海側の道路をドライブをした。
日本海側の夕日は、とても綺麗だった。

昼食や夕食は、地元のレストランや道の駅を使用したが、全国チェーン有名店は全国にあるので愛知県と大差ない様に感じた。
またホットプレートを持参していたので、一人バーベキューをし焼肉とビールで乾杯した。
材料は地元のスーパーマーケットで仕入れた。
東北は都市部を離れるとコンビニが多くスーパーは殆ど無かった。
毎日道の駅で車中泊を過ごしたが、寒すぎたのでアルミシートと毛布を追加購入した。

５日目は、さらに青森県の竜飛岬まで運転した。
竜飛岬では、石川さゆりの石碑と津軽海峡冬けしきの歌を聴くことができた。
津軽海峡は、北海道が遠くに見渡せた。
帰りの道沿いに源義経を祭ったお寺があったので、参拝した。


道の駅では、同じ様に車中泊する人達が多くいた。
隣で車中泊していた人と立ち話をした。
その人は九州から一人旅で全国を回っていて5回目と言っていた。
私の車（ヤリス）より大きいフォレスタで、シートをフラットにし備品も充実している様だった。
彼は、寝袋なので寒くないと言っていた。

６日目は、岩手県盛岡市、宮城県東野市、陸前高田、福島県仙台市を経由した。
観光地は十和田湖、田沢湖、猪苗代湖を眺めスマホでスナップショット。

陸前高田では、津波の被害地に道の駅とモニュメントが有り献花台に花が添えられていた。
また堤防が海沿いに高く建設されており堤防の上を歩いて海を眺めた。
気仙沼、南三陸、石巻の海岸沿いをドライブし仙台に入った。
仙台市松島海岸では、頼まれていた名菓「萩の月」のお土産を買った。


栃木県を経由し東京から高速道路で愛知県に戻ってきた。


走行距離は２６００Km、ガソリン給油は何度もした。
ガソリン価格は１６０円から１８０円と高額なところもあった。
半分使ったら燃料切れになる前に満タン給油した。

　私のヤリスは、日頃スーパーマーケットと病院、近くの用事で乗る程度なので、走行距離は非常に少ない。
東北の長距離運転は毎日８時間程運転していたので走行距離も長く燃費は平均１３Kｍ/ℓとなった。

年齢を考慮すると、あと３～４年は長距離ドライブは出来ると思う。
見知らぬ土地でスマホナビに頼って運転すると、とんでもない山道を走ることも多かった。
しかし事故無く帰ることができて良かった。

次回は、四国を計画する予定だが、八十八か所巡礼は歩くと１週間かかるので無理と思う。
２泊３日くらいで車で１周する旅行を計画しようと考えている。

全国４７都道府県の旅行はまだ道半ばといったところだ。

Tohoku Trip

The summer heat is giving way to autumn and the weather is starting to cool down.
Following my trip to Hokkaido last month, I traveled to Tohoku this month.

I drove on the highway from Aichi Prefecture to Niigata Prefecture and arrived in the evening.
We took a stroll through a park in Niigata City, and after dinner we looked for a place to stay and spent the night in our car in the park.

I had prepared an air bed and a blanket for sleeping in the car, but I was still shivering from the cold around 3am.

Until recently, Aichi Prefecture was experiencing tropical nights, but it seems that winter has already arrived on the Sea of ​​Japan side.

On the second day, I woke up early in the morning. It was cold so I went to the bathroom around 6am, then got up again to prepare breakfast.

I had bought bread, ham, and salad in advance so I had a simple breakfast, and for drinks I used the electric kettle to make instant miso soup.

I boiled water in the electric kettle using a 100V portable power source, so having a hot drink was a delight on a cold morning.

From the third to the fourth day, we moved from Niigata Prefecture to Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture, and then drove along the roads along the Sea of ​​Japan to Akita City, Akita Prefecture.
The sunset along the Sea of ​​Japan was very beautiful.

For lunch and dinner, I ate at local restaurants and roadside stations, but the famous national chain restaurants are available all over the country, so it didn't seem much different from Aichi Prefecture.
I also brought a hot plate, so I did a barbecue by myself and toasted with yakiniku and beer.

The ingredients were purchased from a local supermarket.

In Tohoku, once you leave the cities, there are many convenience stores but almost no supermarkets.
I spent the night in my car at roadside stations every day, but it was so cold that I bought extra aluminum sheets and blankets.

On the fifth day, we drove further to Tappi Cape in Aomori Prefecture.
At Tappi Cape, we were able to see Sayuri Ishikawa's stone monument and hear the song "Tsugaru Kaikyo Fuyukeshiki."

From the Tsugaru Straits, we could see Hokkaido in the distance.
On the way back, we came across a temple dedicated to Minamoto no Yoshitsune, so we paid a visit.

At the roadside station, there were many other people who were also sleeping in their cars.
I stopped to chat with the person who was sleeping in his car next to me.

The person said he was traveling alone from Kyushu and was traveling around the country for the fifth time.
His car was a Foresta, which was bigger than my car (Yaris), with flat seats and a full range of amenities.
He said he wasn't cold because he had a sleeping bag.

On the sixth day, we passed through Morioka City in Iwate Prefecture, Higashino City and Rikuzentakata in Miyagi Prefecture, and Sendai City in Fukushima Prefecture.
We took snapshots of the tourist spots Lake Towada, Lake Tazawa, and Lake Inawashiro on our smartphones.

In Rikuzentakata, there is a roadside station and a monument in the area affected by the tsunami, and flowers have been placed on a floral tribute.
There is also a high embankment built along the coast, and we walked on top of it to look out at the sea.

We drove along the coast of Kesennuma, Minamisanriku, and Ishinomaki before arriving in Sendai.
At Matsushima Beach in Sendai, we bought the souvenir "Hagi no Tsuki," a famous confectionery that had been requested.

I returned to Aichi Prefecture from Tokyo on the highway via Tochigi Prefecture.

The mileage was 2600km, and I filled up with gas many times.
Gas prices were expensive at some places, ranging from 160 to 180 yen.
I filled up the tank after using half the tank before the fuel ran out.

My Yaris has very low mileage because I usually only use it to go to the supermarket, the hospital, and for other nearby errands.
When driving long distances in Tohoku, I drove for about 8 hours every day, so the mileage was long and the average fuel economy was 13 km/L.

Considering my age, I think I can drive long distances for another 3 to 4 years.
When I drive in unfamiliar places relying on my smartphone's navigation system, I often end up driving on crazy mountain roads.
But I'm glad I was able to get home without any accidents.

Next time, I'm planning to go to Shikoku, but I don't think it's possible to do the pilgrimage to all 88 temples on foot, as it would take a week. I'm thinking of planning a trip around the island by car for about two nights and three days.

The trip to all 47 prefectures in Japan is still only half-way complete.
