1. 寒いとパソコンが正常に起動しなくなることがある。そのため、夜間はパソコンの上にひざ掛けをのせている。だいぶ暖かくなってきたので、この毛布もそろそろ不要になるだろう。
2. 周期表の元素が人名に使われる場合を考えてみた。ぱっと思いつくのは、りん、スズ、鉄あたりだろうか・・苗字だったら金（コンと読む）さんがいる。銅とか白金、アルミはなさそうだ。ルミはありそうだね。他になにがあるだろうか。亜鉛、鉛などはたとえ漢字で表記できても人名とは縁が無さそうだ。
3. 72回一般計量士試験を私は福岡の福岡工業大学で受験した。隣の建物は別の試験会場となっており、「登録販売者試験」という立て看板が立っていた。何を販売する資格なんだろう・・と思って帰宅後調べると、ドラッグストアなどで医薬品の販売をする資格のようである。いろんな業界でいろんな資格があるもんなんだな・・。

Even if words such as zinc and lead can be written in kanji, they have nothing to do with people's names.
3. I took the 72nd General Measurement Examination at Fukuoka Institute of Technology in Fukuoka. The building next door was used as another exam venue, and there was a sign saying ``Registered Seller Examination.'' I wondered what I was qualified to sell, so I looked it up when I got home and found out that it seems to be a qualification to sell pharmaceuticals at drug stores. There are various qualifications in this world...
