This red mark is not the result of an insect bite or lovebite (unfortunately).
Two weeks ago, at swim pool, there was a fat old woman attempting miserable butterfly in the lane next to mine. Her form was so distorted that her arm crossed the rope and her nail scratched my shoulder real hard when we passed each other.
It was quite painful I thought I started to bleed. She must have noticed the contact, but she never stopped and I didn't hear a single apology even afterwards.
It's been two weeks and the mark hasnt disappeared . I still feel some pain...
Swimming is one of the safest, injury-free sports and that's why I've always loved it ever since childhood. But here it is, a new lesson was learnt-- beware of rude, reckless, violent oba-san swimmers (btw, there are fat, violent, rude oji-san swimmers who would kick your stomach hard by the leg and thrash away)!!
