The intruders so thoroughly compromised the DNC’s system that they also were able to read all email and chat traffic, said DNC officials and the security experts.

米民主党全国委員会（DNC）から盗み出されたと思われる大量のデータがリークされた可能性がでてきた。ロシア政府と関係のあるハッカーとしては異例の動きと思われる。
米民主党の対Donald Trump氏戦略資料と思われる200ページ超の文書が、「Guccifer 2.0」を名乗る人物からGawkerに送り付けられたという。Gawkerが米国時間6月15日に報じたところによると、ハッカーとされるこの人物は、100Gバイトに及ぶデータを所有していると主張しており、それには「財務報告書、資金提供者の一覧、選挙綱領、共和党対策、個人のメール」などが含まれているという。ほかにも寄付の登録台帳や戦略ファイルなどさまざまな文書が送られてきたと、Gawkerは報じている。
