One portion of it has countless fine holes embedded near a faintly glowing plate.
その一部分は、数え切れない小さな穴が開いていて、淡く光るプレートに埋め込まれている。

The shining plate features an unfamiliar script, beneath which are two circular patterns: one red, one blue.

Between the two circles is the slowly blinking emblem of what appears to be a hand.
２つの円の間には、手のような記号が ゆっくりと点滅している。

It doesn’t seem poisonous, but… ugh, that sickeningly sweet smell.

As you reel at the powerfully sweet scent, Flavio notices something, and cautions you in a low voice.

I’m picking up on more monsters around us. I think they might be attracted to this smell…
魔物の姿が多くなってきてる。たぶん、彼らは この匂いに引き寄せられたんだな…。

Indeed? Oh dear… A smell this strong seems unlikely to dissipate soon.

どうやら、さらに多くの魔物たちに出会うことを 我慢しながら 進まないといけないみたいだ。

It seems that the mist has the unwelcome effect of luring monsters to you…
どうやら、あの霧は 魔物たちを引き寄せてしまう、歓迎できない効果を持っていたようだ…。
When you glance back at the wall where the mist originated, you notice that the panel’s illumination has grown dim.
君たちが ミストが生み出された壁を 振り返ると、パネルの光が 薄暗くなっているのに気づく。
You suspect it will require time before it can be used again…
おそらく、これが再び使えるようになるには、時間が要するだろう…。
You cautiously return to exploring the castle halls, filled now with more monsters than before.
君たちは 警戒を強めて、これまで以上に魔物に満たされた 城の空間の探索に戻る。

As you reel at the powerfully pungent, Bertrand seems to notice something and looks around skeptically.
君たちが 強烈な刺激臭に気を取られていると、ベルトランが 何かに気づいたようで、辺りを懐疑的に見回す。

Hey, does it seem to anyone else like we’re not in as serious danger?

It seems that the mist has the welcome effect to drive monsters away from you…
どうやら、ミストは 魔物たちを遠ざける、歓迎すべき効果を持っていたようだ。
You leisurely return to exploring the castle halls, filled now with fewer monsters than before.

What might this be? They look like pictures, but they’re structured like writing…

They’re a little like what’s used at the castle, but different. I don’t think I can read these.

Well, this floating castle was built by the ancestors of High Lagaard.
まあ、この天空の城は ハイラガードの祖先たちによって 建てられたものだ。
There might be some relation to the modern High Lagaard script.
近代のハイラガードの文字と、なんらかの関連性はあるかもしれない。
