You cautiously descend the stairs and venture into a new floor.
君たちは 注意深く階段を降り、新しい階へと 足を踏み出す。
【アリアンナ】

なんと…
【ナレーション】
The instant you step into this space, you sense an incomprehensible presence.
この空間に 足を踏み入れた瞬間、得体の知れない気配を感じ取る。
Something ominous is lurking in the depths of this place.
何か不気味なものが この場所の奥深くに潜んでいる…。
It is no more hunch, but certifiable fact, as every instinct within you screams of danger.
第六感に過ぎないが、しかし尋常ではない事実、君たちの内なる本能が 危険だと叫んでいる。
【クロエ】
It’s kinda… overwhelming.
なんだか… 圧倒的ね。
【フラヴィオ】
It’s this bad already, and we can’t even see it yet.
もうすでに最悪だが、まだそれを見ることすらできていない。
【ベルトラン】
It must be regaining its strength now that Ginnungagap’s in decline.
ギンヌンガが墜ちたいま、奴は 力を取り戻しつつあるだろう。
Our ordinary strategies aren’t gonna work on this thing…
俺たちの普段の戦略は、こいつには通用しないだろうな…。
【アリアンナ】
The great Calamity that could destroy the world is not far now…
世界を破壊できてしまう大いなる厄災が、今すぐそばに…。
［シグルズ］
Are you getting cold feet?
鳥肌立ってるの？ ツーってしてあげようか？
【アリアンナ】
In truth, no. If I had to face the horror alone, perhaps, but with the rest of you…
いえ、本当は大丈夫なのです。もしひとりで このような脅威に面していたら そうだったかもしれませんが、皆さんと一緒ならば…。

Now that you all stand as one, you begin your journey into the depths of the blue-stained ruins.
いま、君たちは一丸となって、蒼く染まる廃虚の その奥地への冒険を始める。

After traversing the narrow passage, you notice something odd.
狭い通路を通り抜けると、何か奇妙なものに気づく。
【フラヴィオ】
Hm? Did I see something move past that broken wall there…?
ん？ あそこの壊れた壁を 何かがすり抜けたような…？
（壁が光り出す）
Whoa!
のわっ！？
【アリアンナ】
I-Is that… an eye?
あれは… 目、でしょうか？
【ナレーション】
What appears to be a gigantic eye is visible through the crack, and what’s more, it is fixed on you.
巨大な眼のようなものが 裂け目から見え、さらに、それは君たちを見つめて動かない。
But it shows no sign of coming closer, and is seemingly content on keeping a close watch on your movements.
しかし、近づいてくる気配は見せてこず、どうやら 静かに君たちの動きを 見張り続けているようだ。
It is unsettling to know you are being watched in this way, but you must do something in order to proceed.
こんなふうに見られていると分かると 非常に不安だが、進むためには 何か行動を起こさなければいけない。

なんなんだよあれ！？ 何を目論んでいるんだ！？
［シグルズ］
It’s looking for food.
エサを探してるんだよ。
【フラヴィオ】
Food… You mean us!?
エサって… 俺たちのこと！？
【クロエ】
I’m glad it can’t leave the wall.
あれが 壁から動くことができなくてよかったわ。
It might have done worse if it could.
もしそうだったら、最悪なことになってたと思う。
【アリアンナ】
I, too, count myself fortunate that we escaped its reach…
私も、あれから逃れられるように 天を頼ってしまいます…。
【ベルトラン】
This is just a guess, but… we’re down far enough in Ginnungagap that it might have been part of the Calamity.
これは想像に過ぎないんだが… 俺たちはギンヌンガを深く降りてきて、それが厄災の一部であっても おかしくない場所にいる。
But it doesn’t matter much what it was.
しかし、それが何であるかは 大した問題じゃない。
What’s important is not getting caught by that thing every time. Let’s play it smart and avoid it as we go.
重要なことは、どんなときも あれに捕まらないことだ。賢くプレイして 避けながら進むぞ。
【フラヴィオ】
Right. Let’s keep a look out for eyes in the wall to try and predict where the tentacle will strike.
そうだな。壁の中の目に注意して、触手が どこを攻撃してくるか 予想を巡らそう。

あら…？ なにかが浮かんでますね。
【ナレーション】
You look in the direction Arianna indicates.
君たちは アリアンナが仄めかした方向を見やる。
What she is pointing to is a bizarre creature floating in the air. It would seem another monster lurks on this floor.
彼女が指差すものは、空中に浮かぶ 奇妙な生物だ。おそらく、この階に潜む 新しい魔物だろう。
【クロエ】
It has an interesting morphology.
おもしろい形状ね。
【ベルトラン】
I know where you’re coming from, but don’t let your guard down. It could be one of the Calamity’s minions.
お前らの言いたいことはわかるが、油断するなよ。こいつはたぶん、厄災の手先の一匹だ。
【フラヴィオ】
Yeah, let’s not pick any pointless fights. Who knows what it might do…
ああ、不要な戦いは避けよう。こいつ、何をしてくるんだろうな…。
【ナレーション】
Having noticed a powerful enemy afoot, you consider the best way to proceed from here.
強力な敵が うろついているのに気づき、君たちは ここから進むための最善の道を考える。

な、なにかが… あの魔物を捕まえました！

Can we chalk this up to whatever weird thing caught us before?
あれ、さっき俺たちのことを捕まえた 変なやつじゃないか？
【フラヴィオ】
Hmm. What that eye notices us? It comes to grab us, no matter what’s in the way…
うーん。あの眼のやつは おれたちに気づいたのか。そして、その道中に何があっても、目掛けて掴みかかってくると…。
［シグルズ］
I feel a little bad for it.
なんか気の毒ね…
【フラヴィオ】
You mean the monster it caught? Well, I guess it did get caught up in our problem, but I’m not too broken up.
あの捕まってる魔物のこと？ まあ、あいつは おれたちの障害を捕まえてるんだ、そんな気にすることはないよ。
【クロエ】
Mm-hm. Now that the blue monster’s caught, we can move on.
うんうん。あの青い魔物が捕まってれば、私たちは 先に進める。
【フラヴィオ】
Huh. You’re right, now that you mention it. We can use this chance to keep going.
へっ。クロエの言う通りだ。このチャンスを活かして 先に進もう。
【クロエ】
We should watch for both the eyes and the blue monsters from now on.
これからは 眼と 青い魔物の両方に 気をつけたほうがよさそうね。
【ナレーション】

As you walk the lowest reaches of Ginnungagap, you come to a large floor.
君たちが ギンヌンガの最下層を歩いていると、大きな部屋に来る。
You can say with certainly that the great Calamity, cause of so may sorrows, awaits you beyond here…
君たちは 確信を持って、大いなる厄災、あまりにも多くの悲劇の根源が この先に待っているとわかる…。
All that you need in order to open this door is a firmly set resolve.
この扉を開くために必要なものは、断固として堅まった決意のみだ。

厄災… まさにこの先に やつがいるんだな。
For hundreds— no, thousands of years, High Lagaard and Caledonia suffered because of this thing.
数百年のあいだ…いや、数千年ものあいだ、ハイラガードと カレドニアは こいつのせいで脅かされてきた。
【クロエ】
It hurt Trand… Arianna… even Sigurd.
それは、トランド… アリアンナ… シグルズさえも傷つけた。
We should put a stop to it.
止めてみせよう。
【フラヴィオ】
Honestly, this thing freaks me out. I don’t even know why I’m here. But… you’ve made your choice, right, Sigurd?
正直、やつのことは 恐ろしい。どうして いまおれがここにいるのかさえも 分からない。だけど… お前は決めた、そうだなぁ、シグルズ？
I’ll go with you to the very end. You’re my best friend, after all.
最後の最後まで、おれはお前と一緒に行く。お前は おれの最高の友達だからさ。
【アリアンナ】
I must admit, I still harbor some fears. We do not know if the Calamity truly can be defeated.
私も幾分かの恐怖を まだ抱いていることは否定できません。私たちは、厄災が 本当に倒すことができる存在かも わからないのです。
But we have met with many setbacks before now, and overcome them all.
しかし、私たちは これまで多くの挫折を味わい、そのすべてを 乗り越えてきました。
I believe that is because of us all… Because the five members of the Bifrost guild worked as one.
それは、私たちみんなだったから… ビフレストの５人が一丸となって 頑張ったからです。
And that is why we will win. I will provide the best support that I can to every one of you.

ビフレストギルドが 手と手を取り合った力ならば…。終わらせることができます。何が来ようとも！
【ナレーション】

【ナレーション】
You enter the depths of the sealed land… This is the place where the Calamity has been sealed for thousands of years.
君たちは 封印された地の最奥へと入る…。ここが、数千年に渡り 厄災が封印されてきた場所だ。
The atmosphere here is markedly different from elsewhere in the ruins. The tension is palpable simply standing here…
廃墟の如何なる他の場所と比べても、ここは空気が明らかに異なる。ここに立っているだけで、その緊張感は明瞭だ。
【クロエ】
There is nothing here…?
何もない…？
【ナレーション】
Chloe glances around, confused.
クロエは 辺りを見つめ、混乱した様子だ。
You admit to seeing nothing unusual in the area either.
君たちもまた、エリアに不自然なものは見えないことを 認める。
Yet the moment you take a step forward…
しかし、君たちが前方へ踏み出した瞬間…。
You sense a powerfully evil presence, far worse than even the most dreadful of monsters you’ve yet encountered!
強力で凶悪な、これまで対峙した 最も恐ろしい魔物たちよりも 遥かに最悪な気配を感じる！

It’s coming!
来ます！
【フラヴィオ】
I-It’s huge…!
で、でけぇ…！
【クロエ】
Ginnungagap had a monster this big in it…?
ギンヌンガは こんなに大きな魔物を その中に有していたの…？
【ベルトラン】
I knew it would be something else, if they needed a whole ruin to seal it away, but this is way beyond what I imagined!
封印に この廃墟全体が必要ということなら、別格の何かだとは 思っていたが、こいつは想像以上だぜ！
【アリアンナ】
So this is our final enemy…
これが 私たちの最後の敵…。
【ナレーション】
Before you writhes the so-called Calamity, a creature vastly more horrific and terrible than your previous opponents.
厄災と呼ばれる、これまでの相手たちより 遥かに恐ろしく、凶悪な魔物の前に、君たちは身悶えする。
It appearance is so monstrous that your hands cannot help but tremble as they grip your weapons.
その姿は 非常に怪異で、武器を握る君たちの手は どうしても震えてしまう。
Merely seeing the Calamity’s eyes blink as they stare hungrily at you instills an instinctive desire to flee.
腹を空かせたように、君たちを見つめながら瞬きする その瞳を ただ見つめるだけでも、逃げたいという 本能的な願いを引き起こす。
But you neither step back, nor lower your weapons.
しかし君たちは 後ずさりも、武器を下ろしもしない。
【フラヴィオ】
Heh. Your size doesn’t scare us! You think you’re the first thing we’ve fought that’s bigger than us!?
へっ。お前の大きさが 何だってんだ！ おれたちが 自分たちよりデカいやつと戦うのは 初めてだと思ったか！！
【クロエ】
This would be impossible to do alone. But we’re not alone.
１人なら たぶん不可能。だけど、私たちは１人じゃない。
【ベルトラン】
Hey, ugly. It’s your fault that my life’s a mess. You’re going to pay for what you’ve done, right here, right now!
おい、最悪だ。お前のせいで、俺の人生は 滅茶苦茶になったんだ。お前のしてきた、その対価を支払ってもらうぞ、今ここで、今すぐにだ！

私たちは 逃げません！ 未来の可能性と、約束が 天秤が掛けられたいま！
【ナレーション】

それが どんな超常的な力を有していたとしても、君たちは 戦うことができる力を持っている。

You give a battle cry and point your weapon at the Calamity, and your companions take up their arms without hesitation.
君は 雄叫びを上げ、武器を厄災に抜ける。君の仲間たちも 躊躇いなく武器を抜く。
The battle to break the chains of sorrow that have gone on these many centuries has begun!
何世紀にも渡り続いてきた、悲しみの連鎖を断ち切る戦いが いま始まる！
