What is the ritual for?

It is... an ancient ritual that my nation is tasked to perform every century, when a Daughter of the Mark is born... so I am told.
私の国が課されている、100年ごとに執り行われる古代の儀式です。印の娘が生まれたときに…そう聞いています。
Upon the eighteenth year of the Daughter of the Mark, she and her knight shall bear the ritual words to Ginnungagap’s depths.
印の娘の18歳になった年に、彼女と彼女の騎士は ギンヌンガガプの奥地へ、儀式の言葉を負います。
Thus does the daughter grant vitality to the heart of the land, and the circle continues.

What is Ginnungagap like?

I have been told that Ginnungagap is an enormous ravine, located on the outskirts of High Lagaard.
ギンヌンガガプについては、ハイラガードの外れに位置する、巨大な渓谷だと聞いております。
It has been called by that name since long ago, but nobody truly knows its origins.
遠い昔から その名で呼ばれていますが、その始まりを本当に知る者はいません。
Within this deep chasm is a structure known as the Temple of Ginnungagap.
この深い谷間の中が、ギンヌンガガプの神殿として知られる構造物なのです。
...As time passed, however, the temple fell into disrepair. Now, it is little more than a ruin.
しかし、時が過ぎて、神殿は荒廃してしまいました。いまは 廃墟という言葉以上かもしれません。
There may be danger lurking within the ruins of Ginnungagap... but I must go. I have a duty to perform the ritual.
ギンヌンガガプの遺跡の中には危険が潜んでいるでしょうが…行かなければなりません。果たさなければならない儀式があります。
Once our preparations are finished, let us go to the outskirts of High Lagaard. I will guide you to Ginnungagap from there.
