今日は三陸鉄道の開業40周年記念式典にお招きいただき
講演会を行いました。
僕がはじめて三陸鉄道を撮影したのは
高校2年生のとき、
まさに三陸鉄道の開業日でした。
それから40年間撮り続けてきた三陸鉄道の作品を
振り返りながらお話させていただきました。
40年前、鉄道カメラマンを夢見て
夢中で三陸鉄道を撮影していた僕が、
こんな大切な式典で講演させていただけるようになれたこと
心から誇りに思います。
あらためて、三陸鉄道開業40周年
おめでとうございます。
1鉄は、式典前だというのに
山に分け入って撮影した
山口団地のしだれ桜。
地元の方々がみな親切で
撮影場所まで案内してくれました。
こんな交流をふくめて
とても幸せな1日でした。

I was invited to the 40th anniversary ceremony of Sanriku Railway and had a speech today.
When I took the photos of Sanriku Railway for the 1st time in my life, I was 2nd grade of high school and it was the very opening day of Sanriku Railway.
I had a speech while reviewing those pictures which I have taken since then, for 40 years, .
40 years ago, when I dreamed to be a railway photographer and was crazy about taking photos of Sanriku Railway, I truely take pride in to be able to have a speech at such important ceremony.
Once again, congratulations on the 40th anniversary of the Sanriku Railway.
Today's photos is the weeping cherry bloosoms which I took in the middle of the mountain before ceremony.
The local residenses kindly guided me to the photo spot.
It was the very happy day for me, including such exchanges.
