活気あふれる長崎の街。
ここ昭和町通停留所付近も、
両側が商店街でとても賑やかです。
でもこの停留所、
なぜか長崎駅方面行きのホームがないんです。
なんでも渋滞対策で
1998年に撤去されてしまったとか。
片側にしかホームがないと不便そうですが、
奥に次の停留所が見えてるので
そんなに困らないのでしょうね。

It's the vibrant city, Nagasaki.
Thanks for commercial avenue, around Showa-cho train stop is bustling place too.
But, curiously, there is not the platform for Nagasaki at this train stop.
Some say, it has been taken away for reducing congestion in 1998.
It seems inconvenient to have only one side platform but we can see the next stop from here, so I guess it won't be big problem.
