若かりしころ
北海道ワイド周遊券で
旅しまくった石北本線。
自分が歳を重ねるたびに
どんどん寂しくなる沿線風景に
胸が苦しくなります。
今日は鉄道の日。
深刻な働き手不足と
自動運転などの新技術の開発など
次々にローカル線が廃止になった時代には
想像もつかなかった変化がおきている今、
効率よく人やモノを運ぶことができる
鉄道というシステムのあり方を、
みんなで模索する
タイミングなのかもしれません。

When I was young, I traveled all over Sekihokuhonsen Line with a Hokkaido Wide Circuler Pass.
The older I get, My heart pains for the scenery along the line that gets lonlier and lonlier.
It is "The Day of Railtoad" today.
Now, there are a lot of changes which we couldn't imagine when the local lines were abolished one by one for example decreasing workers and developing new technology as automatic driving.
it may be the turning point to seek the role of the system of the railways which can effectively carry a lot of passengers and freights.
