石州瓦の波が広がる
山陰旅情たっぷりのこの場所。
てつたび！のロケで訪ねて以来
数年ぶりに訪れたのですが、
お約束なしでいきなり訪ねたのにもかかわらず
住職さんは満面の笑顔で
迎えてくれました。
風景にも感動しましたが、
その笑顔にも大きな感動をいただきました。
こういう笑顔を見たくて
僕は旅をしているのかな。
「あぁ日本のどこかに
私を待ってる人がいる」
いい日旅立ちのワンフレーズが
しっくりくるような
素敵な出会いでした。

It's my favorite temple garden because I can see houses the roofs of
which are covered with Sekisyu-Gawara which has the very particular atmosphere of Sanin area.
Few years has passed since I visited there for making films of "Tetsutabi!".
The chief priest of that temple was welcomed me with a big smile although I went there without appointment.
Not only the scenery but also the big smile touched my heart.
I suppose that I'm traveling to see such smiles.
"Ah there is a person who are waiting me somewhere in Japan."
The famous frase of "Iihi Tabidachi" muches to express the wonderful encounter.
