数年前に、ある講演会のご挨拶をさせて頂くときに、
参考になるスピーチ動画を探していて見つけた
スティーブ・ジョブズのスピーチ。
このスピーチを知ってから、
内容が素晴らしいと色んな場面で見聞きして、
あるきっかけで、改めてみました。
３つの事について話していて、
改めて心に残ったのは3つ目。
死についてのはなし
Your time is limited so don't waste it living someone else's life
Don't be trapped dogma which is living with the redults of other people's thinking.
Don't let the noise of other' opinions drown out your inner voice.
And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.
They somehow already know what you truly want to become.
Everything else is secondary.
上の英文は抜粋で印象に残った所だけど、
特に印象に残ったのは、
If today were the last day of my life
would I want to do what I am about to do today?
There is no reason not to follow your heart.
もしも、今日が私の最期の日だとしたら、
今日私は今からやろうとすることを
したいと思うだろうか？
自分の心に従わないとする理由などどこにもない。
ここが印象に残った。
死ぬときに後悔しない生き方をしたいと思っているけど、
余計にこのフレーズが強く刺さりました。
