Fall 2018の授業の第一週目が終わりました。感想としては、専門の土木工学の授業は予習して、課題をしっかりやったらなんとかなりそうです。しかし、取る予定だった教養科目は本当に第一回目の授業でついて行けなかったので、他の教養科目に変更しました。多分、変更できると思う。それでも、英語でディスカッションしなきゃいけないし、自分の意見をどんどん言わないといけないので、食らいついていきます！
変更した授業：Language, culture + critical thinking (ANTH4) → Critical thinking + Educated person (EDUC10)
-感じたこと-
・授業を受けている人はみんなめっちゃ意識高い。授業中に携帯を触っている人はめったに見ないし、授業中や授業後に質問が飛び交う。
・ほとんどの教授が授業するのがうまくて、受けていて楽しい。授業中にジョークを結構言ってるので、授業を受けていて飽きない。パワフルって感じ。
・課題、予習しなきゃいけない量はやっぱり多い。
・ぎりぎりに授業行ったら、後ろの席しか空いてないので、早めに行くようにしてる。
・電子辞書はいつも持ち歩いてる。
今日、9月3日（9月の第１月曜日）はレイバーデー（労働者の日）で祝日なので、有意義な休日にしようと思っています。
サクラメントの気候は長野以上の寒暖差です。笑 乾燥してて過ごしやすい。
My first week has finished! Actually, I was exhausted, but classes were very exciting and I made more friends. They were very kind and nice. I swapped one of my classes, because it was really hard for me. But, I have to write a large essay for homework and communicate in English about some difficult affairs to improve my critical thinking.
One thing I was surprised about is that American university students spend less time using a smartphone during class than us in Japan. Everyone focuses and concentrates on class very much. Furthermore, they often ask question even if the class is still in session.
Recently, I’m into the gym and go there four or five times per week. It is refreshing and feels good. The gym on our campus has many machines and places to play sports. So, I like it.
Today is Labor Day (9/3 it’s on the first Monday in September). We have no classes, so I should prepare for classes and do homework.
