I bought broken Brownie Hawkeye, about 10 years ago!.
After taking this camera back to my apartment, I found there wasn't most important main Lens! The front glass was a flat cover glass, and there was no lens behind. I got completely anger.
Further the long screw bolts are different, (they could not set the view finder!)
This camera is very easy mechanism, so I have decided to repair it my technique (from anger).
So I bought Main Lens (the same focus length with information), and I visited a long-established screws shop in the mid Tokyo.
I made several handmade spools for roll film (620 film).
I refilled to that spool from 120 film. and took several pictures,
but the resut was not good.
after 10 years blanc...
This summer, I was reading a blog about an old camera like mine, I the changed the face of lens according to the information of a blogger in this site.
I handmade (over f16) Apertures with paper...
I took 2 expired films. I am waiting the result...

These two long bolts were difficult to find.
Strangely, the key points of this camera match the size of a 50 yen coin. Problem with inches and centimeters?
Film was cheap about 10 years ago. The price has now increased 4-5 times.
