These days we have much rain. It is raining very heavily here in Higashiosaka now. Our place is safe because there are no large rivers, no mountains and no sea near our place.
It means we don’t live in a scenic place.
I can say any nice place with rich nature might have floods, landslides and tsunami (tidal waves).
We can visit those nice scenic place for holidays. Oh, it seems like sour grapes.
私は生まれてこの方、山や海の自然ゆたかな場所には住んだことがありません。
ある意味、そのような景色の良いところに住むのは憧れです。でも海も山もない大きな川もない景色の良くないところは洪水、津波、崖崩れの心配はしなくてよい。景色の良いところにはたまに休暇で行けばいい。ちょっと負け惜しみが入っていますが､､､
