The man in rags responded, “It sounds interesting”. He took a bow beside him and drew the bow. The bow was too soft for his power. He broke the bow. And all bows were broken by him.

あの的を射抜けなければ、死んでもらう」
ボロを纏ったその男は「面白い！」と答えると傍らの弓を取って引きました。でも彼の剛力にはその弓は弱すぎた。その弓は折れてしまいました。
そしてどの弓も彼に折られてしまいました。
The older brother said, “Bring that Yuriwaka’s steel bow and let him use it”.
The man in rags looked happy holding the steel bow and drew the bow. In fact, it was so powerful that the target got blown into many pieces. The man shouted at the brothers, “Two of you there! Didn’t you see the power of my bow shot! I am the true lord Yuriwaka.”
その兄の方が言いました「あの百合若の鉄弓を持ってこい、そしてこの男に使わせてやれ。」
そのボロを纏った男は嬉しそうにその鉄弓をとり引きました。それは凄まじい威力で的は粉々に吹き飛んだ。彼はその兄弟に叫んだ、「そこのおまえたち二人！我が強弓の威力を見たか！我こそはは本当の領主、百合若なるぞ。」
The next moment, Yuriwaka grabbed the brothers’ hair and swung them around.
Watching the scene, his people welcomed him with a shout of joy.
Needless to say the bad brothers were punished severely.
Thus, Yuriwaka took back his position and lived happily with his lovely wife. (The end)
次の瞬間、百合若はその兄弟の髪を掴んで彼らをぐるぐると振り回した。この光景を見た領民たちは歓喜の声で彼を迎えた。言うまでもなく、その悪い兄弟は厳しく罰せられた。
かくして百合若は領主としての地位を取り戻し麗しい妻と幸せに暮らしました。めでたし! めでたし!
