Soon we’ll have a Bushism festival called “bon” in Japan. It’s believed that our ancestors’ souls come home during the period that is from 13th to 16th, August.

私達の先祖のその期間中は帰ってくると信じられている。8月13日から16日です。
It was a little early but we had a service of bon inviting monk from a temple.
My daughter participated in on line from Malaysia.
少し早かったですがお寺からお坊さんを招いて法要をしました。今回も娘はマレーシアからオンライン参加しました。
In a sense, it is a reunion of our late
beloved ones. We welcome and entertained them with nice meals.
I imagine my grandparents, parents and even all of my pets stay with me.
