Although I have lived in Osaka for a long time, there are still some places I’ve never been to. For example, I’ve never been to a station called ‘Tsurugaoka’ of JR Hanwa line.
I happened to know the name of the station in Abeno ward in an article of SNS. It’s the nearest station of Nagai stadium but I’ve never been to the stadium itself.
I feel like visiting the place someday because I’m curious about a pond called ‘Nagaike’ near there.
大阪に長く住んでいるけれど、行ったことがない場所がまだあります。例えばJR阪和線の鶴ヶ丘駅には行ったことがありません。私はたまたまSNSのある記事で阿倍野区のその駅名を知りました。それは長居競技場の最寄り駅ですが私はその競技場そのものに行ったことがないのです。私にとってはその近くにある細長い形の長池と呼ばれる池に好奇心があります。いつかその場所を訪れてみたいと思います。

These days I seldom read newspapers and seldom watch TV news. Then how to get information?
As you imagine,I always check the Internet with my phone.
私は新聞やTVニュースを見なくなって久しい。ではどのようにして世間や世界の情報を得るのか？ご想像どおりスマホのネットからです。
But I start to feel a lot of information on the Internet is not worthy enough to believe because it is often fake made up with AI or old information reported many years ago.
しかし最近はネットの情報は新聞やTVニュース以上に信用できないものが多いと感じています。AIとか文章、映像まで本当らしく作り上げたり、何年も前のニュースを繰り返し使ったりできるからです。ミサイルが飛び交っている映像や地震でビルが崩壊するシーンも疑わしいものが多い。
実態のある新聞社や放送局からの情報の方がまだ信用できるかも。
As my wife’s workplace is changing to a new place, last Sunday, we tried visiting there to make sure the best way to get there. Living in Osaka for a long time, we’ve never been to the place before. As I checked the location with a map, I found the possible two ways that are by Hankyu railway and by JR line. We tried going there by Hankyu and tried coming back by JR. We’ve found commuting by JR is much easier.
It was exciting for me to visit a new place. I enjoyed a kind of adventure travel.
妻は4月から新しい場所で仕事をするのでこの日曜日に下見に行ってきました。行きは阪急、帰りはJRでどちらが便利か試してみました。阪急は梅田経由になるので妻にとっては乗り換えの経路が複雑過ぎでした。ということでJRで通勤という結論になりました。長年大阪に住んでいてもこの地域には今まで行ったことがありませんでした。行ったことがない所に行くのは何となくエキサイティングで私にとっては楽しい小旅行でした。
