狂歌
式亭三馬 Shikitei-Sanba
善もせず悪も作らず死ぬる身は地蔵もほめず閻魔叱らず
I passed away without contributing to society or doing any wrongdoing. Perhaps I will not be praised by Jizo Bodhisattva, nor will I be scolded by Lord Enma.
空から生まれ空に逝く。確かに、その間、あまり力まなくても良いではないかと思う。
Born from nothing and dies into nothing. Indeed, I don't think people need to exert much effort during that time.
デジタル大辞泉 【式亭三馬しきてい‐さんば】 ［1776～1822］江戸後期の草双紙・洒落本・滑稽本作者。江戸の人。本名、菊地久徳。本屋に奉公し、のち薬屋を営んだ。江戸庶民の町人気質を会話を主にして描写。滑稽本「浮世風呂」「浮世床」、合巻「雷太郎強悪物語いかずちたろうごうあくものがたり」など。
