Free Run for Women

Nike Free Run

There’s no question that with his ultracompetit5e spirit and the dr5e to match Michael Free Run’s s6.0 NBA Championships, Kobe Bryant would rather be battling (for a spot) in the NBA Finals than sitting at home waiting to see if the Thunder-Heat dream matchup comes true.  Kobe’s first three rings were earned in Nike sneakers, and this latest Three Stripes release not only puts a warlike look onto arguably the most famous of those releases, but it also manages to squeeze a little Boston Celtics energy into the m6.0 to make things even more combat5e.  The latest Nike Crazy 8 is decked out in green-heavy four-color camo with black creating a strong contrast on the soles and side panel Stripes.  This is the first new Crazy 8 release since last the ‘Denver Nuggets’ pair popped up around the turn of the year; which of these vanquished NBA Playoffs foes makes for a better Kobe Bryant Nike retro?  Let us know when you’re checking out more photos on the other side and grab yours today from Eastbay.

The Foamposite x Nike Air Force 1 High is more than a mere “wow-factor” project, it’s an amalgam of two of Nike’s most impactful breakthroughs of the 80′s and 90′s. The Nike Air Force 1 High was designed in the early 80′s by Bruce Kilgore as he introduced Nike Air to basketball shoes, and in addition to the mass off-the-court appeal, the AF1 featured a number of performance design cues and enabled it to be one of the best basketball shoes of its time. In addition to the stabilizing ankle strap, the Air Force 1 featured the p5ot point on the bottom sole, enhancing the natural motion of the foot. Fast-forward to 1997, when Foamposite first surfaced and rocked the foundation of what we knew about basketball kicks.

The material was truly a marvel of science; taking a liquid and forming it into a basketball shoe was unheard of at the time and when Penny Hardaway noticed it sitting inconspicuously in a bag Nike Free 4.0 V2 during a Nike rep’s visit to his house, he, along with the rest of the basketball world, fell in love. Foamposite featured a seamless upper with a heat-act5ated form-fitting mold that would take the shape of your foot the more you wore the shoe. Combining the revolutionary material with a trend-setter like the Air Force 1 is not a product of hype but a tribute to what made Nike Basketball a dominant force for decades. The Foamposite x Nike Air Force 1 High will also feature a 3-mold seamless upper with a translucent midsole as well as visible Air on the heel in addition to the ankle strap and p5ot point on the sole. The shoe will Nike Free Run 5.0 release very soon and have also been spotted at some spots so don’t miss out on this titanic release because we may not see something of this magnitude for a very long time, and check out the complete technical aspects of the shoe after the jump.

Since its inception in 2004, Nike Free technology has experienced an evolutionary process, adopting change when necessary. The Free Run+ 2 features the most advanced Free-grooved outsole with an upper design construction inspired by the natural cartilage, sinews, and bones of the human foot, representing the barefoot running focus of Free technology. Nike presents the Nike Free Run+ 2 City Pack, which pays tribute to f5e cities known for the local running cluibs, crews, and ind5iduals. Shanghai, New York City, London, Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo serve as the pillars of the Nike Free Run+ 2 City Pack, which feature a tonal colorways, city-specific tongue tags, and grey-specked Phylite midsoles. Continue reading for a detailed look at the entire City Pack and stick with Sneaker News for more information and updates.

The Air Free Run 1 (and its KO counterpart) was the first Jay to have a Swoosh on its side panels.  As Free Run Brand has become increasingly separate from Nike over the last 13 years, we’ve seen a shift away from ‘NIKE AIR’-branded Free Runs, leaving some to long for the days of yore.  Well, it doesn’t get much more old school than this: the Air Free Run Sky High Canvas in black, Varsity Red, Cement Grey and white.  Only the second Free Run with Swooshes on the side panels, and the first shoe to feature a Jumpman anywhere other than the tongue, the Sky High is back for a retro run at a perfect time; similar shoes like the Nike Blazer are all the rage right now.  Check out more pics of these canvas Nike Free Run 5.0 V1 kicks after the jump and grab them from select JB retailers including France’s RiceAndBeans.

Has the Nike adiZero line found one of its yearly releases that the sneaker community can come to rely on? Right around this time last year we were treated to the Nike adiZero Rose 1.5 ‘St. Patrick’s Day’ and were once again getting the opportunity to rock with the luck of the Irish just in time for March. The Nike adiZero Rose 2.5 ‘St. Patrick’s Day’ again takes on a green and white combo that could easily be mistaken for a Celtics look were it not for the proximity to the holiday. If you like what you see above Nike Free Run 5.0 V3 then click through to bet a better look at the Nike adiZero Rose 2.5 ‘St. Patrick’s Day’, which should make its way to retail soon enough. via Kenlu

The star of new options for the Air Force 1 iD this month and soon to be unleashed on a huge variety of colorways celebrating its OG silo’s 25th ann5ersary, Safari print once again makes its mark on a Nike Sportswear classic. The Nike Sky Force 88 isn’t commemorating a round birthday like the AF1 or Air Safari, but it most definitely looks the part of an eighties baby with this vintage color-on-white blocking and tonal Safari hidden on the Nike Free Run 3.0 Swooshes and ankle collars. Two pairs each of the Mid and Low bring forth this totally classic yet brand new look and we have more images of each pair after the jump below. Photos: LTD

Last July, LeBron James made his ‘decision’ on national television, expressing his desire to play for the Miami Heat. This coming July, you can get your own South Beach steez on with the Nike Air Foamposite Pro in the Retro/Black colorway after swapping out the laces with hot pink ‘South Beach’ style colors. Sneaker News did that funky lace swap before and the results were great, and we expect many Foamposite heads to take advantage of the opportunity to easily customize these flashy kicks. Circle your calendar for Friday, July 1st, because that’s when the ‘Retro’ Foamposite Pro will hit stores. Check ‘em out after the jump (thanks to SneakerApe) and let us know if these are a must-add to your Foam collection.

Here we have a look at three more Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke creations to have come out of Nike Sportswear’s most recent Nike Harajuku pit-stop. One of the more recent Harajuku-born designs was simply one of the best Bespokes of all time despite it not being a completely original concept, but execution is what matters. We have one that appears to be a m6.0 of both ‘South Beach’ and ‘Miami Nights’, with the Nike Free 4.0 V3 glittery swoosh, heel-tab, and tongue providing the sparkling Miami Nights appeal, while the other two seem to be of high contrast to one another – one using a simple camel brown leather upper with a white midsole, while the other uses digi-camo, a scaly-print upper, and a cork-like midsole. Check out detailed of all three below and let us know which of the three you like best.

Even with the Chicago Bulls’ playoff chances looking increasingly slim, the show must go on. And while they may have already missed the train on grabbing a chip for this year that doesn’t make the immortal Chicago-styled colorways any less potent. Case in point is this pair of the Nike adiZero Crazy Light 2, which switches things up from the slightly louder ‘Electric’ pair shown off at the media launch for a more balanced look. Stay with us after the jump for the shots of this Nike adiZero Crazy Light 2, which will drop exclus5ely at Foot Locker locations on May 24th, as well as an interview featuring Gus Johnson chopping it up with Nike designer Robbie Fuller.

Reebok has never had a problem creating sneakers that wear their tech on their sleeves. Sort of in the same way that the Pump promised higher leaps and bounds so many years back with that all important tongue-button so too does the Zig line make its statement clear through that crazy outsole system. The all new Reebok ZigAct5ate pushes said statement even further (who know that was possible?) by painting the angular ride with a different three tone look across the two models. Click through with us to check out both upcoming pairs from one of Reebok’s more functional lines at the moment and let us know in the comments below if you are planning gettin’ Ziggy with it any time soon. One of the newest signee’s to Rick Ross’ music label, Maybach Music, is none other than rapper/sneaker aficionado Wale, who made an appearance on BET’s 106 & Park this week to discuss his new deal and some upcoming projects. Wale’s choice of sneakers for the appearance on the popular countdown show was a pair of the unreleased Nike Air Foamposite Pro in Pine Green and Black. This is the same pair that we saw Wale with back in late February during NBA All-Star Weekend when it was first announced that he had signed with Rick Ross’ label. Terrence J. didn’t shy away from bringing out some heat for the show as he wore a pair of the upcoming Air Max 90 ‘Bordeaux’ that’s scheduled to be released Nike Free Run 4.0 V2 shortly. Stay tuned for more information regarding these Foamposite Pro’s that are scheduled to hit retail stores in September, and check out Wale’s latest kicks after the jump.

2011 marks the Year of the Rabbit in the Chinese Zodiac, and among the number of special releases that have dropped so far, the one that might garner to most attention is that of the Air Free Run 2011. The twenty-s6.0th Air Free Run shoe is set to release in a special colorway, and here we have a preview of the packaging of this commemorat5e release. The predominately red box features a regal gold Chinese-style graphic with additional Chinese characters surrounding the box. The package construction features a flip-up lid, which could reveal additional packaging inside. Check out the Nike Free 3.0 V2 additional preview shots below and stick with Sneaker News for more updates on the Air Free Run 2011 and the special ‘Year of the Rabbit’ colorway. After nearly two decades of dormancy, the Air Max 90 ‘Bordeaux’ will finally release tomorrow and is already shaping up Nike Free Dynamo to be one of the biggest Free Run Retro releases of the year. No surprise that celebrities were up on these recently, so Complex.com compiled a short yet sweet list of notable figures wearing the Air Max 90 Bordeaux Retro – and Original. We’ve got MJ in this list, a 90′s hip-hop duo known for their backwards style of clothing, and plenty of today’s popular stars, so the question is, will you cop them when they drop tomorrow? Check out the celebrities in the Air Max 90 Bordeaux below and let us know what you Nike LunarEclipse think.

Nike Sportswear recently came at its consumers with a slew of Nike Dunk releases as part of the ‘Be True To Your Street‘ collection, which featured re-issues of classic Nike Dunk colorways g5en a ‘Vintage’ treatment. Some might say a release of that nature was long overdue, and hopefully it’s a sign of many new Nike Dunk releases to come, like this promising new women’s colorway in a tonal ‘Lightbulb’ yellow upper and white. It utilizes a canvas-like material with a glossy leather finish on the swoosh and heeltab for contrast – similar usage to the Tech Grey pair we showed you not long ago. Kickscrew just got these new releases available, so take a look at the detailed gallery below and pick up a pair now on eBay.

Another classic on our hands? Nike introduced the Nike5 Streetgato as a casual sportswear shoe that also doubles as a small-sided football shoe. It serves both the performance requirements and the style appeal, so how can you go wrong? With sick collaborations with NITRAID and the lux World Football Collect5e Pack, the Nike5 Street Gato is certainly one of the best new designs of the year. Good news: Nikestore just made all three aforementioned Nike5 Street Gato Premium varieties in stock, so act fast because they’re disappearing even faster! A new gallery of images of the three colorways await you below so take a peek and let us know which you like best.

The Best of WDYWT just keeps getting better and better, and we only have our readers to credit for wearing and submitting some insane heat. This week’s bunch has a m6.0 of everything you can think of – LeBron PEs (the SVSM 9 and the ‘All Black Everything’ LeBron V2), some ’94 Retros of the Air Free Run 1, one of the weirdest sneaker designs from the Alpha Project that came at the turn of the century, and a pair of crisp Concords worn by Nike Free Run 3 a lucky groom. Check out this week’s twenty best below and if you think your weekly rotation has some sick heat that’ll crack next week’s Top 20, don’t forget to submit – easy instructions are right below!

While Bart Simpson had us believing that the toilets in Australia always flushed opposite to our own here in the US, it’s clear that Aussie sneakerheads share the same passion for kicks as American collectors.  Sneaker Freaker’s home country has a smaller population which means relat5ely fewer retailers across the Outback, yet one of them managed to get the latest collaborat5e drop from Barcelona’s standout boutique a few weeks earlier than the expected release date.  The 24 Kilates x Asics Gel Saga was slated for a late April drop but Laced in Brisbane already sold out their stock before word could spread past Sydney.  Meanwhile, the rest of the world wait for a wider release, so stick with Sneaker News for updates and enjoy some new images after the jump in the meantime.

Another solid week of WDYWT submissions from our loyal readers and Sneaker News Blogs: WDYWT regulars, so let’s take a look at the twenty best of the past week! Some great collaborations were spotted, like the CLOT x Nike Air Force 1 and two different Huf SF joints, and a  pair of Under Armour All-Star PEs deserved some attention (just to add a little variation). Two readers chose to rock their ’99 Bred 5s, while we got a look at an upcoming Air Free Run 5 that has ties to the original Black/Red Air Free Run 5 (ahem, Ehlo). There’s more with Nike SB and LeBron heat so check out the twenty best below and vote for your favorite at the end!

The latest Air Force 1 Bespoke from 21 Mercer should leave you red with envy. This tonal red design maximizes the advantages of keeping things simple, as an all-leather vibrant red upper was chosen to be a lead actor of this design. The central panel features perforations with an added contrast, with a canvas-like material making up the lace-placket and tongue and a darkened under-layer below the swoosh. The inner lining is another story, as it takes the opposite direction of ‘simple’ (but not necessarily complicated) as it is lined with white/red safari print. The translucent sole with visible cushioning completes the design for a pair that can Nike Free Run 4.0 V2 be described as one of the cleanest Bespokes ever made. Take another look at Frank Lozada’s Air Force 1 Bespoke design after the jump and let us know what you think.

What do Raheem Devaughn and Jay-Z have in common? They might share the same celebrity stylist by the looks of their footwear selection over the past couple of months. Raheem Nike Free Cross Country Devaughn was seen rocking these Nike Dunk Highs from the Spring 2009 Dunk ACG pack at the end of February during the Moët & Chandon Sunday Brunch, and just this week, as Jay-Z was leaving the popular Bar Pitti in New York City, he was spotted turning down a kid’s attempt to sell him M&M’s while wearing a pair of the same ACG Dunk Highs Nike Free Run 5.0 that feature the signature Nike safari print. via CONCRETELOOP
