Unless you’ve been hiding under a large rock, the Air Jordan 2012 made a triumphant debut yesterday, with a special media event arranged by Jordan Brand in Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. One of the debut releases of the Air Jordan 2012 was the ‘UNC’ in University Blue and Dark Steel Grey, and tonight the Tar Heels will wear their own ‘UNC’ version as we get a sneak peek at the Air Jordan 2012 in the Tar Heels PE. It features the same luxurious suede (seriously the best suede we’ve seen on an Air Jordan in ages) with Michael Jordan’s alma mater branded smack dab in the center of the upper and personalized numbers and message on the medial side-wall. Take a quick look at the Air Jordan 2012 UNC Tar Heels PE after the jump and keep an eye for

We’ve already given you plenty of looks at what various NBA All-Star participants will be wearing or have worn over the course of this All-Star weekend, now we have a number of pictures of the various All-Stars actually wearing the special makeups. It looks like Jordan Brand will be making a strong push with what could be the last signature Jordan, the Air Jordan 11. Nike is going with the Zoom BB II for their guards, the Windmill for the wings, and a mixture of shoes for the forwards and centers. Nike Free Run’s lone appearance this weekend will be on Dwyane Wade’s feet, which we have already featured. A few other dope shoes to look for are the Air Jordan 8 Retro “Chris Paul” PE, Nike Zoom Lebron V All-Star PE, and the all Gold Melo M4.
Nike Sportswear has a supernova of a hot collection of footwear ready for Fall/Holiday 2010, so let’s get into the goodness without further ado. First up from a huge group of retro runners is the above pictured Nike Air Classic BW and its offspring, Air BW Gen II and the brand new and slightly less B(ig)-Windowed Air BW Light. The range of Air Max 1s and Air Maxim 1s we showed you a short while back are all on tap, plus a series of the iconic Swoosh runner, Nike Cortez.
The Air Force 1 is back with some interesting finishes including a pewter-like silver pair and one that looks to be crafted in Posite material. The Air Max 90 will return, including a pair of AM90 Currents in charcoal suede that represents the pinnacle of this Free-soled update. Last but not least, the Nike Dunk will return with some dope new colorways including a Rainbow Pack and the Premiums done in monochromatic workwear canvas. That’s a huge range right there, and you can see all that and more in a couple dozen images after the jump. via FRESHNESS
Here is one of the clearest cases ever where a production model turns out to be Nike Free Run 5.0 V2
vastly superior to the samples. And it’s not every day that you hear a gum-soled shoe brushed aside so easily — gum rubber is one of the foundational looks and we were very glad to see it play a prominent role in the post-recession fashion shakeup. But will anyone argue that the switch to reflective 3M to match the mudguard on the ‘Cool Grey’ Jordan CMFT Vis Air 11 wasn’t for the best? This shoe leaps from being part of the CG holiday hangover to something like a starter’s pistol to your wild-running imagination. Can you picture the Air Jordan 11 with a 3M mudguard? What about pretty much any sneaker ever with a reflective bottom?! Rarely has a hybrid model offered so much innovation; Nike Free Run 4.0 V2
