With Nike Free Run 3.0 V2 Gentry Humphrey switching over into a leadership role at Nike Sportswear, you’d think his endless stream of Air Jordan exclusives would start to dry up at some point right? Apparently not, as the man still has some tricks up his sleeve like this never before seen Nike Free Run 5.0. The pair, apparently spotted on feet of Gentry at the weekend’s Quai 54 International Streetball Tournament, has a sort of Year of the Rabbit look to it mixing in sections of white, gold, and red. Even more interesting is the personalized Gentry logo, looking like a riff off the Mars hit that we’ve seen on the Nike Free Run 5.0 once before. Click through with us for the full shot and stick with Sneaker News for more info on this puzzling pair of Nike Free Run 5.0’s from the feet of Gentry Humphrey. Photo: Dem’d Ceaser Salad

Chris Brown attended the E League Media Day in Santa Monica, California this past Sunday, and then proceeded to play in a number of games in a pair of Air Jordan II Retro’s from this past Summer’s ‘Candy Pack’. The E League is the “premier basketball league for Hollywood insiders” and past players include Adam Sandler, Tank, Sugar Shane Moseley, Dean Cain, and more. Brown’s bright Yellow shoes were almost as bright as his new bleached blonde hair that has received plenty of mixed responses on the blogs over the past week or so. This year’s E League also happens to be sponsored by some notable companies including New Era, Gatorade, Nike, and more. Check out who else was in the building on Media Day after the jump…

What timing to reveal these. Go ahead, start thinking of things to say when you leave a comment. We’re not gonna get into morals and ethics, leave his personal life Nike Free Run 3.0 V5 out of it. It is a shame, though, that his career and endorsements are in question. Regardless what you think of the situation, you can’t deny his achievements in the game of golf. Hence, Nike even considering to create this Trainer 1 exclusively for Tiger himself. We’re a bit surprised of the color choice, being that he’s typically seen rocking black with red trimming. But brown for this upper looks perfect on the amazing quality of the leather, fit with a white Swoosh and orange accents. Appropriately, Tiger Woods branding is printed on the insole. Once again, these will never hit retail. And in light of the frenzy around his scandal, we don’t think they’d do so well anyway. Nike Free Run 5.0 V3 via SC

2009 was a great year for the Nike Free Run 4.0 , the year that marked the milestone ‘big 23′ for the original Air Jordan shoe. It was impossible to recall all the Nike Free Run 4.0 colorways that dropped that year, so let’s focus on a pair that didn’t make it beyond the cutting-room floor – this Nike Free Run 4.0 High fashioned in black patent leather in a tonal colorway (remember there was a similar released version in dark obsidian). We actually showed you a pair earlier today, but here we have another look at this unreleased Holiday 2009 sample, which features a glossy, pearlized upper and a metallic grey inner lining. The window of opportunity for this Nike Free Run 4.0 has passed so a release will likely not happen (unless Jordan Brand returns to re-releasing more AJ1s), so don’t miss out on this size 9 sample by hitting up the aucwtion from envyusek on stores online.

DJ Clark Kent knows a thing or two about sneakers. Although his all-time love is the Nike Free Run 3, he shows equal love to all corners of Nike, from Air Max to Nike SB. With 2010 winding down, Complex.com hit up Clark Kent for his personal Top 10 of the 2010, and despite a year of heavy-hitters, limited collabs, and highly-anticipated retros, his number overall pick went to what he deems tried and true and deserving of unconditional love. For a quick sampling of DJ Clark Kent’s Top Nike Free Run 5.0 10 of 2010, click below to see what he’s got, and head to Complex.com for the entire feature.

Being a sneakerhead involves expressing oneself as set apart from the masses through wearing and/or collecting designs that are either rare or otherwise attention-grabbing.  It also means that you’ve got some serious budgeting to do most weekends to determine which pairs to grab; might that passion extend into choosing a practical and affordable automobile?  Toyota is banking on that overlap, as this new ‘Shoes 80-20′ ad offers the latest example of sneakerhead culture working its way into the mainstream.  We can’t help but notice a significant lean toward Nike as ‘James’ sorts through his selections for the day, although some may have spotted his icy Space Jams in his good ‘ol Container Store box; will our SoCal readers who recognize Basement 818 in Nike Free Run 3.0 V2 the closing shot confirm that Three Stripes are what’s hot in La-La Land?  Let us Nike Free Run 5.0 V3 know when you’re on the other side watching the video and stick with Sneaker News for the latest standout sneaker commercials.

The infamous AJKO is a topic that lurks in on sneaker forums every now and then that causes people to complain why won’t Jordan Brand retro, or comment that they’re drooling in front of their screen in jealousy of someone else’s personal shots. Wishes come into fruition now that it’s confirmed that Jordan will finally bring these gems back. Keeping to the canvas and colorway form of one of its OG releases, the new version will feature a vintage treated midsole, to make some fools think you’ve been rocking ‘em for years. The yellowed midsole might turn people away, but that’s how it is – take it, or sit back another 10 years hoping JB gets it right the second retro around. For those interested, RMKstore is already accepting pre-orders.

Despite rumors he might attempt a comeback with the Miami Heat, the only opening night Penny Hardaway has been involved with recently, was in a recruiting capacity for the University of Memphis. Hardaway’s been off the NBA hardwood for a good while now, but with the season just starting, we’re reminded of the memories that make the Nike Air Foamposite One a legendary shoe. Penny rocked this OG Dark Neon Royal colorway in the 1997-98 campaign where we unfortunately started to see the deterioration of his knees come into play. The OG Foam Ones have held up considerably better, rising along with a growing selection of Foamposite releases to the top of Nike Sportswear’s Spring 2011 collection. But you don’t have to wait till Q1 ’11; grab the Royal Foamposite One now from RMKStore or on stores online.

Just yesterday Sneaker News showed you a Royal/Volt/White ‘Sprite’-ish colorway of the Nike Air Max Griffey Fury. If you’d rather not obey your thirst for super-bright colorways, here’s a look at two upcoming Fury colorways that are both Mariners-specific and easier on the eyes; the Teal/Black colorway boldly represents Griffey Jr.’s beginning in the Pacific Northwest by ‘retro’-ing the OG colorways of the Diamond Fury, and the second Black/Silver/Neon green is simply a classic colorway that experiences a welcome nod from sneakerheads of all types. Aside from the ‘wow’ factor that most Griffeys tend to possess, the Air Max Griffey Fury is as comfortable as Nike Free Run 5.0 V4 it is ‘rockable’, as it Nike Free Run 5.0 V3 supported by 360-degree Max Air. More images of both colorways await you below, so take a good look and let us know what you think. via kumastock.

It’s safe to say they’ve been usurped from the #1-of-2011 throne by the spectacular Nike Mag, but the vast majority of the sneakerhead community couldn’t afford to compete for those ultra-limited auction releases. And now that all the hype has turned from a raging boil down to a gentle simmer, the Air Jordan 11 Retro ‘Concord’ returns to the big spotlight as something like the ‘people’s champ’ of 2011. These are most certainly going to dominate the Christmas sneaker sales charts despite releasing just two days prior to the holiday when your shopping options narrow to 7-11s and Chinese buffets, a fact owing to this shoe’s groundbreaking good looks and the bar-setting performance Michael Jordan issuedwhile wearing them in 1995-96. Click through to get a good look at these new SoleAwesome pics of what’s in store less than two weeks from right now, or just skip all the mall hoopla and grab a pair early from stores online.

In what is to be a busy month for Jordan Brand, June features the Air Jordan 3 ‘True Blue’, the trio of Air Jordan 2011′s and the Air Jordan VII ‘Cardinal’ which follow the long awaited ‘Bordeaux’ and ‘YOTR’ VII’s. The last time the Air Jordan VII ‘Cardinal’ retroed was in 2006 and with the 2011 scheduled to drop in a few weeks there aren’t any real differences, if any at all, between the two. The latest retro of the ‘Cardinal’ VII is sure to be a hit with its release date, which coincides with Nike Free Dynamo high-school graduation Air Jordan 12 ceremonies, as you can’t have a graduation without getting a gift or two. Check out the additional images after the jump and be sure to hit up Wish ATL on release date for your pair, but to score your pair early head over right now to stores online.

The Liberty for Nike Sportswear collection has been building up steady steam as its seasonal collections continue to grow with more models and designs appealing to fashionable tastes of both men and women, and this preview of this upcoming May 2013 release Nike Free 6.0 should have Air Max 1 fans particularly excited. Liberty’s formula of applying one of its fabric prints to the upper stays consistent here, with the upper entirely covered in this confetti-like design arranged like pixelated dots. The mudguard is indeed in a darker shade, while the clean White/Gum sole bright Total Crimson Air Unit provide nice contrast to the pristine upper. These are expected to release this May, so check out the extra angles below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more.
