トルコ最終日なので、地理的な位置、国民性、気候についてまとめてみますー。
It's my last day in Turkey, so I'll summarize the geographical location, national character, and climate.
まず、トルコの位置について。
First, about Turkey's location.
トルコは地理的にヨーロッパとアジアのちょうど間に位置している。
Geographically, Turkey is located exactly between Europe and Asia.
歴史を勉強すればするほど、イスタンブールのこの位置の重要性を感じてしまう。
The more I study history, the more I feel the importance of Istanbul's location.
そして、このイスタンブールの地形はずるい。
And the topography of Istanbul is too great.
海を挟んで、ヨーロッパ地区とアジア地区に分かれており、そこにイスラム教を象徴する豪華なモスクが数多く並んでいる。
It is divided into the European and Asian districts by the sea, and there are many gorgeous mosques that symbolize Islam.
気候も良く、海峡には優雅に船が通っていて、その上をかもめが飛んでいる。
The weather is good, and ships pass gracefully on the strait, with seagulls flying overhead.
他に何もなくても、それだけで映画のワンシーンのようだった。
Even if there was nothing else, it was like a scene from a movie.
トルコはイスラム教国家のため宗教的にはアジアよりだが、EU加盟に積極的であるため政治や経済的にはヨーロッパよりだ。
Turkey is an Islamic country, so it is closer to Asia religiously, but it is closer to Europe politically and economically because it is actively seeking EU membership.
イスタンブールはこれからもアジアとヨーロッパの両方の文化を融合させながら発展していくのだろう。
Istanbul will continue to develop while fusing both Asian and European cultures.
次に、トルコ人の国民性について。
Next, about the national character of Turkish people.
国民性は温和で、他者に対してとても親切な人が多い。
The national character is gentle, and many people are very kind to others.
実際に、私が地下鉄のチケットを買うのに困っていると、青年が私の方をポンポンと叩いて、一緒に改札を通してくれた。
In fact, when I was having trouble buying a subway ticket, a young man tapped me and helped me through the ticket gate.
もし私が日本で外国人が困っていても、ここまではしないと思う。
If I were a foreigner in Japan and in trouble, I don't think I would go to such lengths.
彼は本当に優しい目をしていて、訪問者をおもてなす表情だった。
He had really kind eyes and a welcoming expression.
また、イスタンブールでは、電車でお年寄りに席を譲る若者も多かった。
Also, in Istanbul, many young people offered their seats to elderly people on the train.
このように人を助けるという行動はイスラム教の教えからきているらしい。
It seems that this behavior of helping others comes from the teachings of Islam.
調べてみると、トルコ人は日本人に近い雰囲気を持っていて、私たちは距離が離れてはいるものの、アジアの端と端で親和性のある文化を形成しているそうだ。
After doing some research, I found that Turkish people have a similar atmosphere to Japanese people, and although we are far apart, we have formed a culture of affinity between the two ends of Asia.
なんか嬉しいな。笑
I'm kind of happy. lol
最後に、トルコの気候について。
Finally, about the climate in Turkey.
首都のイスタンブールの平均気温は8月で23度前後、1月で6度前後になる。
The average temperature in the capital, Istanbul, is around 23 degrees in August and around 6 degrees in January.
興味深いことに、イスタンブールと東京では夏場以外に平均気温の差がそれほど大きくない。
Interestingly, the difference in average temperature between Istanbul and Tokyo is not that great except in summer.
また、基本的に降水量が日本と比べて少なく、空気はカラッとしている。
Also, the amount of precipitation is generally less than in Japan, and the air is dry.
私は中国の上海からイスタンブールに入ったので、気温の低さと湿気の少なさでとても快適に感じた。
I entered Istanbul from Shanghai, China, and felt very comfortable with the low temperature and low humidity.
トルコ旅行に来る時は、基本的に日本で過ごしているときのもので大丈夫みたいです。
It seems that when traveling to Turkey, you can basically wear what you wear in Japan.
