is it real?!

Nostalgically sculptures are gathered in a small room. How strange it is. They are so famous.

Gallery in the 30th Story.

The gallery is Clifford Chance LLP in Canary Wharf and it has a exhibition of Postgraduate Printmaking in London 2008. This exhibition is about the graduates from London art colleges. The artists are from Camberwell College of Arts, Royal College of Art, Central Saint Martins College of Art, Royal Academy School, and Slade School of Fine Art. Following schools are rivals each other, also very well known art schools. Especially, Camberwell, Royal College, and Royal Academy School are famous for printmaking.

This gallery space are inside an office building, therefore, booking is required. Additionally, the location isn't supposed to be art area. Generally speaking,it is hard to imagine ordinary people come there. Then this is the question who possibly to visit such a gallery. The answer is workers in this building. According to the curater, a lot of business lawyers are working there. The back side of its leaflet, it obviously says "works are for sale."

This exhibition is annual event and it has been for twelve years up to. Businessman often ask to the curater that how do young artists decide their work price.
The printmaker standard, for example, is that if the artists have contract with galleries, basically gallerists decide the price (of course, there are negotiations between the artist and the gallery).

Frieze Art fair

Frieze Art Fair, this is one of biggest art events in the world. Annually, it takes place, and so-called "top" galleries join it. The total number of galleries is about 150. Of course UK galleries are the majority, yet Koyama Tomio gallery and Taka Ishii gallery also join it from Japan. Although this event is "art fair," the quality is quite high then many people enjoy the event as a exhibition. The worth of this event actually is that you can skim the trend of current contemporary art market. Supposing that museums have exhibition in term of academism, the event would be that each gallery brings recommended artists who are different form other galleries and has a confident to exhibit their recommending works for costumers. The art below is kind of interactive art that someone smokes in inside of transparent box. Therefore before joining the art, audiences have to sign up the agreement. The genius Nobuyoshi Araki. He is very popular in world view as well as Japan. This kind of fetishistic art might be the very taste as Japanese-sensation for Western culture. There are the idols in art world. about Japanese art... Over all, Japanese artist study 'art' enough– they have enough strategy to fight against world-class artists, or only the gallery, which has the quality to be able to join this art fair, can catch up world standard level of art. This is very hard work for galleries especially in this worse economic time and situation. On the other hand, Japanese art still has not had the context different from the two major Murakami and Nara. Murakami and Nara are already reliable to invest. Therefor collectors are looking for something new. about wold art... Art market always is related to economic trend thus Chinese and Indian art is very prosperous. These two countries are also trendy in auction. Except that people are now actually waiting something new after YBA.
