今回(2023/7/29)、この曲のリリース当時に放送された、アルバム全曲のセルフライナーノーツの書き起こしを見つけたので(ずーっと探していた！)和訳を訂正しました。
かなり信用度の高い資料だと思います。

シリアスな歌詞なので誤訳は避けたいのですが…
この歌詞は主語がはっきりしない部分が多く、私なりに集めた情報を元に推測して訳した部分が多いです。
MVなどで雰囲気は伝わると思いますが、この曲は戦争を止められない無力感、国連の機能不全などについて、痛烈な皮肉を込めて歌ったものだと思います。
この曲はイラク戦争の前に書かれたようですが、現在の世界の状況や人々の心境と変わらないと思います。
(その変わらなさがさらに無力感に拍車をかけるのですが…)
