初日の出編 the first sunrise of 2011

元旦は早起きして初日の出を見に行ったそうです

(on new years day, bunsen woke up early to see the first sinrise of 2011.)

初日の出見る為に甲山神社に来てるよ～

(i'm here at kabutoyama shrine to see the sunrise!!)

もうすぐなんだけどなあ～

(it's almost there!!)

それにしても寒い。。。

(it's freeeeeeezing out here!!)

出た出た～！！！！！

(i can see it now!!)

(it's so beautiful!!)

満足満足

鐘を鳴らしてる人も絶えないよ

(lots of people are lining up to ring the bell for happiness and good health!)

ゴ～～～ン　あの人気合い入ってるね

(sound of the bell ringing.)

おおっ！立派な門松もあるね

(wow!! look at the big ※kadomatsu!)

※Kadomatsu are a pair of pine decorations which are placed in front of the gates of a residence from January 1st to the 7th, the period known as matsunouchi.

お参りもちゃんとしないとね

(i must wish for happiness and good luck at the shrine too!)
