まずは今回の本文に出てきた語句で、テキストでも放送でも説明されなかったものの補足。

●課題文から
Per la maggior parte degli italiani, infatti, la spiaggia rappresenta il luogo per eccellenza dove meno si fa, meglio è.
(For most Italians, in fact, the beach represents the place par excellence where the less you do, the better.)
実際、大部分のイタリア人にとって、ビーチは「何もしないほどいい」という究極の場所なのです。
「聞き取りのヒント」で取り上げられた文です。
meno si fa, meglio èの部分は英語の「the+比較級..., the+比較級 ~」にあたりますね。
