（Walking around Rome）

マッテオ先生：
È la stazione più grande d'Italia e ogni giorno c'è un via vai incredibile di gente che arriva da tutto il paese.
（It is the largest station in Italy, and every day there is an incredible coming and going of people from all over the country.）
亜希子先生：
そう、テルミニ駅は、イタリアで一番大きな駅。毎日イタリア中からやってくる多くの人が行き交っていますね。そんなテルミニ駅から、いよいよユリとブルーのローマツアーが始まりますよ。では、早速聞いてみましょう。自己紹介を終えたユリとブルーノが駅からどのように街を散策するのかを話し合っています。どこにどうやって行くのかに注意して聞いてみてください。

B：Andiamo in centro con l'autobus. E poi giriamo a piedi. Che ne dici?
Y : Va bene.
B：Allora vado a prendere i biglietti. Mi aspetti qui?
Y : D'accordo!

Y : Gladly! Where are we going?
B：We go downtown by bus. And then we'll walk around. What do you think?

●La frase chiave（The key phrase）

andiamoは２人称複数
vado/ vai/ va/ andiamo/ andate/ vanno
andare（go）の使い方
「～へ行く」andare + 前置詞（in）+場所（go to ～）
「～で(手段）行く」amdare +con + 定冠詞 + 交通手段
※英語のgo to ... by～と違って、定冠詞を使う。
●Impariamo 1（Let's learn 1）
★andareの活用
マッテオ先生：
Andiamo è un verbo irregolare ed ha una coniugazione un po' particolare.
（Andiamo is an irregular verb and has a somewhat particular conjugation.）
亜希子先生：
fare同様、andareも不規則な活用をします。
マッテオ先生：
vado/ vai/ va/ andiamo/ andate/ vanno
①私は来年イタリアに行きます。
L'anno prossimo vado in Italia.
（I'm going to Italy next year .）
②あなた方は電車でローマに行くのですか？
Andate a Roma con il treno?
（Are you going to Rome by train?）
③彼らは今晩街の中心には行きません。
Stasera non vanno in centro.
（They're not going downtown tonight.）
●Impariamo ２（Let's learn ２）
★andare + 前置詞+場所
①私たちはレストランに行きます。
Andiamo al ristorante.
（We go to the restaurant. ）
②私たちはピッセリアに行きます。
Andiamo in pizzeria［trattoria］.
（We go to the pizzeria[trattoria]).
亜希子先生：
pizzeriaはピッツァ専門店です。
マッテオ先生：
Eh sì, perché gli italiani quando mangiano la pizza, mangiano davvero solo la pizza.
（Oh yes, because when Italians eat pizza, they really only eat pizza.）
亜希子先生：
確かに、イタリアではピッツァを食べる時はピッツァだけで、パスタなど他の物を食べないのが一般的ですね。このpizzeriaの場合、前置詞はinを使います。pizzeriaやtrattoria（食堂）など-riaで終わる名詞はinを使うことが比較的多いですね。
※しかも、イタリア人はシェアしたりせず、１人でピザ１枚食べるんですよね！
③私たちは学校へ行きます。
Andiamo a scuola.
（We go to school.）

亜希子先生：
さて、今回のローマ豆知識は？
マッテオ先生：
Perché a Roma ci sono solo tre linee della metropolitana?
（Why are there only three subway lines in Rome?）
亜希子先生：
なぜローマには地下鉄が3つしかないの？
今回のスキットでは、駅からローマの中心の方に行く手段としてバスが出てきましたが、ローマの街を散策する時に便利な交通手段は他に地下鉄もありますよね。
マッテオ先生：
Sì. Rispetto all'autobus, la metro è sicuramente più comoda da usare, ma purtroppo ci sono poche linee.
（Yes. Compared to the bus, the metro is certainly more convenient to use, but unfortunately, there are few lines.）
亜希子先生：
そうなんですよ。ローマって、あれだけ大きな街なのに、現在、地下鉄がABCの３路線しかないんですよね。

いったいどうしてこんなに路線が少ないんでしょう？
マッテオ先生：
Perché a Roma ovunque scavi trovi sempre qualche nuovo reperto archeologico. Quindi bisogna sempre interrompere i lavori.
（Because in Rome, wherever you dig you always find some new archaeological find. So you always have to stop work.）
亜希子先生：
なるほど。どこ掘っても何かしらの遺跡が出てきてしまうからなんですね。さすがローマ！でも、あちこちで遺跡にぶつかりつつも、ローマは今も地下鉄を掘り続けていますよね。最近もB線の分線とC線が一部開業していますし、最終的にはC線をコロッセオあたりまで伸ばす予定だとか。
マッテオ先生：
E pensa che adesso i reperti ritrovati durante gli scavi della linea C sono esposti gratuitamente nella stazione di San Giovanni. Bello, no?
（And think that now the artifacts found during the excavations of the C line are on display for free at the San Giovanni station. Nice, isn't it?）
亜希子先生：
新線の掘削工事中に発見された遺跡は無料で展示されているんですか⁉
なんとローマならではの粋な計らいですね。
マッテオ先生：
Certo che se anche la linea C passasse per il Colosseo sarebbe davvero comodo. Ma di questo passo chissà quanto ci vorrà ancora.
（Of course, if line C also passed through the Colosseum, it would be really convenient. But at this rate, who knows how long it will take?
亜希子先生：
確かに。C線がコロッセオまで開通したら便利ではありますが、この調子ではどうも気長に待つしかなさそうですね。
マッテオ先生：
Quando avranno finito, potranno allestito un museo intero.
（When they are finished, they can set up a whole museum.）
亜希子先生：
工事が全部終わった暁には、美術館が一つできてしまうかもしれませんね。
