イザベラ先生：
Leggiamo insieme l'italiano ad alta voce.

石田先生：
今回のテーマは音を味わおう。言葉は音でもあります。言葉の音としての側面に注目し味わってみましょう。
そして今回挑戦するのは、
●In un momento
（In a moment）
石田先生：
「一瞬で」というタイトルの詩です。
まずは音読のための準備をします。内容を確認して行きましょう。
「この一瞬で」という詩は、20世紀前半に活躍した詩人ディーノ・カンパーナの作品です。カンパーナは天才とされる一方で、ちょっと変わった存在とみられていました。文学サークルとは距離を置き、放浪したり、当時の精神病院に収容されたり、波乱に満ちた人生を送りました。
今回読むのはどんなん詩なんですか？
イザベラ先生：
Campana è anche conosciuto per il rapporto passionale di intenso con Sibilla Aleramo, una scrittrice poetessa *** contemporanea. La poesia che leggeremo oggi parla della fine del loro amore.
(Campana is also known for his intense and passionate relationship with Sibilla Aleramo, a contemporary poet and writer. The poem we will read today is about the end of their love.)

石田先生：
カンパーナは詩人、作家のシビラ・アレラーモとの恋でも知られています。情熱的なアーティスト同士の恋は、燃えるような激しさだったそうです。2人の交際は1916年から1918年まで続き、この詩はその終わりの時期に書かれたものです。カンパーナは、言葉の音の美しさが印象的な詩をいくつも残しています。同じ言葉を反復することで、音そのものの美しさを際立たせるのが特徴です。
イザベラ先生：

まずはイザベラさんに全体を読んでもらいます。響きやリズムを味わってください。

In a moment
The roses have faded
The petals have fallen
Because I could not forget the roses
We were looking for them together
We found some roses
They were her roses they were my roses
This journey we called love
With our blood and our tears we made the roses
That shone for a moment in the morning sun
We faded them under the sun among the brambles
The roses that weren't our roses
My roses her roses

cadutiはcadere（fall）の過去分詞。動詞がありませんね。
イザベラ先生：
Qui viene omesso il verbo sono.
（The verb sono is omitted here.）
石田先生：
sonoが省略されているんですね。

(Because I could not forget the roses）
石田先生：
冒頭のは「何故」を意味する疑問詞でも、「なぜなら」を意味する接続詞でもありますが、ここではどっちですか？
イザベラ先生：
Mmm, è difficile dirlo. Le poesie non seguono sempre le regole di grammatica e quelle di Dino Campana sono conosciute anche per questo.
(Hmm, it's hard to say. Poems do not always follow the rules of grammar and those of Dino Campana are also known for this.)
石田先生：
ここではどちらとは言い難いんですね。恋に揺れる気持ちの現れとも言えそうです。詩は時に文法を逸脱するものです。特にカンパーナの詩はそうした特徴をもつことで知られています。
さて、potevoは補助動詞potere「～できる」の一人称単数形。時制は半過去です。
記憶にどっぷり浸かりながら語る半過去は、過去の恋愛を語るのにピッタリの時制ですね。

石田先生：
col =con+il、colle=con+leで現在はあまり使われない形です。
またlagrimeも現在はlacrime（tears）という形が一般的です。

（That shone for a moment in the morning sun）
▼Le abbiamo sfiorite sotto il sole tra i rovi
（We faded them under the sun among the brambles）
石田先生：
ところで「枯れさせる、しおれさせる」と言うには使役形fare sfiorire、近過去ならabbiamo fatto sfiorireではないんですか？
イザベラ先生：
Hai ragione. Si tratta di un'altro esempio in cui il testo non segue le normali regole di grammatica. È una forma poetica.
(You are right. This is another example where the text does not follow the normal rules of grammar. It is a poetic form.)
石田先生：
ここも文法規則を外れた詩ならではの用法なんですね。より直接的な表現が詩らしさを感じさせますね。

（The roses that were not our roses）
▼Le mie rose le sue rose
（My roses her roses）
石田先生：
僕のバラで、彼女のバラだった。
主語も動詞も省略されていますが、それは僕のバラだった、彼女のバラだった。つまり、それぞれ別々のバラであって、2人のバラでわなかったということです。
2人の恋愛関係が成就しなかった事が表現されていますよ。

dimenticammoはdimenticare(forget）の遠過去１人称複数形。
ここまで半過去と近過去で2人の関係が回想されてきましたが、ここで遠過去が登場する事で一気に過去の終わった話として突き放される感覚があります。
イザベラ先生：
Esatto. Il loro amore è finito per sempre.
（That's right. Their love is over forever.）
石田先生：
決定的に2人の愛が終わったということです。
