以前こんな👇記事を書いてました。この記事にはlower your voiceという表現は、検索先を含めて出ていませんでした。
これは私の推測なのですが、このディレクター（声の調子などからも）かなりのジェントルマンと思われます。lower your voiceは（Could youの部分も含めて）丁寧な言い方なのではないでしょうか?（4月22日放送の「エンジョイ・シンプル・イングリッシュ」はNHKゴガクアプリならまだ聞くことができます）
この表現が気になってディクテーションしてみたのですが、この他にもなるほどと思う表現がありました。
▼英語でもCut！なんですね。
▼shooting a music video「ミュージックビデオの撮影」
▼I bought some sweets and put them out in the hallway.
「お菓子を買って廊下に出しておきました」
（外国の芸能界でもこんな慣習あるのかな？）
showbizの世界を垣間見るような表現ですね。
