スティーブ先生の解説では、next nextもおそらく通じるのでは、とのことですが、
in two more stopsを覚えておきたいと思います。「次の次の次」ならin three more stopsとのこと。

という言い方も覚えておきたいですね。
また、スティーブ先生の説明では：

ということですので、映画館、コンサート、球場などの場面でも使えるということですね。覚えておきたいと思います。
ここで、大昔（40年くらい前）の記憶がよみがえりました。
in the middle ofの使い方です。
The shop is in the middle of Aoyama Street. （実際は青山通りではなかった）とネイティブの先生に言って意味が通じていたんですが、
その瞬間こう思ったんです。
「in the middle ofだと誤解されないかな？通りのセンターラインあたりとか？」
先生に伝えたら、
「hallway downを使うといいかな」と言われた（そう記憶していた）。
そこで、Copilot with Bing Chatに質問してみました。返事はこうです。
I understand your concern. "In the middle of" can be ambiguous and may lead to confusion. An alternative phrase that you can use is "down the hallway" which is more specific and less prone to misinterpretation.
