今回のスキットは、In autobus（By bus）「バスで」
マッテオ先生：
Ancora in autobus. Ma quanto ci vuole prima che inizino a visitare la città?
（Still on the bus. But how long does it take before they start visiting the city?）
亜希子先生：
早く観光に出かけたいって？そう焦らないでください。バチカン方面へのバスに乗ることにしたユリとブルーノ。バスに乗った際にしなければいけない大切なことをブルーノが説明していますよ。早速聞いてみましょう。
マッテオ先生：
E allora ascoltiamo il dialogo.
（So let's listen to the dialogue.）
●今週のスキット
In autobus（By bus）「バスで」
B: Bruno Y: Yuri
B: Sull' autobus dobbiamo timbrare il biglietto.
Y: Come si fa?
B: Devi inserire il biglietto nella macchinetta.
Y: OK. Dove dobbiamo scendere?
B: Fra due fermate. Andiamo verso l'uscita.
Permesso? Possiamo passare?
※timbrare：日付スタンプを押す
＜英訳＞
B: On the bus, we have to stamp the ticket.
Y: How do you do that?
B: You have to insert the ticket into the machine.
Y: OK. Where do we have to get off?
B: At the second stop. Let's go to the exit.
Excuse me? Can we pass through?

★義務を表す動詞dovere「～しなければならない」
▼dovereの活用
devo, devi, deve, dobbiamo, dovete, devono
▼dovereの後ろに別の動詞の原形を続けると「～しなければならない」という意味。
Deve fare il check in entro le ventuno. ※敬称Leiに対して
（You must check in by 9 p.m.）
Dovete prendere quel treno per Napoli. ※主語は「あなたたちは」
（You have to take that train to Naples.）
Dove devo andare per comprare il biglietto?
（Where do I have to go to buy the ticket?）
●Impariamo ２（Let's learn ２）
亜希子先生：
doovereは「～しなければならない」という義務を表わす動詞ですが、文脈によっては「～する必要がある」「～することになっている」という意味で使ったり、相手に対して「～したほうがいいですよ」「～してください」と勧める表現としても使うことができます。例文を確認してみましょう。
Devi complare questo vestito.
（I recommend you buy this dress.）
Deve girare a destra al secondo semaforo.
（You should turn right at the second traffic light.）
亜希子先生：
否定文の場合でも「～すべきではない、～してはいけない」という意味の他に「～する必要はない、～しなくても良い」という意味になる場合があります。
C'è ancora tempo, non dovete avere fretta.
（There is still time, you don't have to rush.）

亜希子先生：
さて、今回ご紹介するローマ豆知識は？
マッテオ先生：
Attenzione al biglietto!
（Pay attention to the ticket!）
亜希子先生：
チケットにスタンプを押すことを忘れずに。
今回のスキットで出てきたチケットに日付スタンプを押すこと。これって今やICカードが普及している私たち日本人にとっては、あんまり馴染みがないのですが、イタリアでは必須ですよね。
マッテオ先生：
Eh già, e poi bisogna fare molta attenzione perché anche se muniti di biglietto, se dimentichiamo di timbrarlo nelle apposite macchinette, ci prendiamo una più bella multa salata.
（Oh yeah, and then we have to be very careful because even if we have a ticket, if we forget to stamp it in the appropriate machines, we will get a bigger, heavier fine.）
亜希子先生：
それは大変！チケットを持っていたとしても、ちゃんと日付スタンプ押していなければ罰金が課されてしまうなんて。バスに乗る際には絶対に忘れないようにしなければいけませんね。
マッテオ先生：
Esatto. E questo non vale solo per l'autobus, ma anche per il treno.
（Exactly. And this doesn't just apply to the bus, but also to the train.）
亜希子先生：
バスだけでなく、電車に乗るときもチケットに打刻しなければいけないんですね。ちなみに電車も車内に機械があるのでしょうか？
マッテオ先生：
Eh purtroppo no. E le macchinette si trovano solo in prossimità del binario, quindi bisogna assolutamente timbrarlo prima di salire.
（Oh unfortunately not. And the machines are only found near the platform, so you absolutely have to stamp it before getting on.）
亜希子先生：
機械はフォームにしかないので、乗る前に必ず日付スタンプを押さなければいけないんですね。でも、電車に乗る前ってバタバタしてしまって、ついつい忘れてしまうなんてこともありそうですよね。そんな時はいったいどうしたらいいんでしょう？
マッテオ先生：
In quel caso bisogna cercare subito il controllore e riferirgli di aver dimenticato di timbrare. Così lui scriverà la data a penna sul biglietto.
（In that case you must immediately look for the controller and report to him that you forgot to stamp. Then he will write the date in pen on the ticket.）
亜希子先生：
すぐに車内の車掌さんを探して打刻し忘れたことを伝えたら、チケットに日付を手書きで書いてくれるかもしれないですね。なるほど。でもこれはあくまで困ったときの最後の手段。やっぱり乗る前に忘れずにしっかり日付スタンプを押すのが一番です。皆さん、イタリアのバスや電車に乗るときはこの作業をくれぐれもお忘れなく。

③Per arrivare alla staztione, dovete andare diritto per questa strada.

今回は動詞dovereの活用と使い方を学びました。それではまた次回。

※2007年にイタリアを旅行した時、ミラノで地下鉄に乗ったのですが、切符を買うだけでバタバタ。写真のようなキオスクまたはタバコ屋さんで買えると聞いていたので、ホテルを出てすぐあったお店で聞いたら、売ってないとのこと。駅の窓口で尋ねたら（英語で）、どうやらまず地下へ降りるらしい．．．結局、日本でもあるようなホームのキオスクみたいなお店で切符を買いました。
帰りも路線がよく分からなくなり・・・
よその国に行くとほんと心細いですよね。
日本で困ってる外国人観光客見かけたら、声をかけてあげよっと。
